1 Hour JavaScript (Udemy.com)

Fantastic first step into programming. With a little extra solo research from w3 schools, the information in the course got me to a point where I was able to explore making a password generator with a full user interface for different characters allowed in the generator much like what is in the popular web extension program "Last Pass". All of this being just one hour has been phenomenal, since I divided up my time between the course and a personal project, I can say it took me around 4-5 hours to get through everything and build a challenging personal project on the side with the tools provided. I really highly recommend this course because of its "straight to the point" brevity style. The feeling of completing the whole course and being able to do something really sparks a feeling of confidence in me that makes me want to push for more. This course is really easy to understand, it makes learning the course pretty cool and way better than another course about this. this guy explained what programs you need, how each thing works, and shows it in a very easy to copy way. Great for beginners and makes me feel decent about Javascript. The other guy did none of that, nor too many other, I love this course.

Yes very basic and interesting

clear, precise and exactly the kind of presentation i expected. starts with basics of HTML and then moved to little bit of understanding about styling CSS, then gets on to scripting using javascript and how the variables are defined and what are local and global variables, in scope and out of scope variables, functions and how variables are used inside these functions, essentially then looks at program logic like if statement, if then else statement, else if statement, if condition(true/false) then execute the below curly statements, how to include css style tags directly into javascript... this is very nice presentation and appreciate the work here done by the presenter. Thank you!

I have used Javascript in the past, but it's been a long time. This was a great brushup to remind me of how the language works. I really enjoy John's style of teaching, he's easy to follow, and I'll definitely look through his other courses when I want to learn brand-new-to-me things! Thanks, John - Great Job! =)
