Cons

    • Course goes well beyond the scope of most Blender introductions and leaves students much more enabled to complete animation projects.
    • Course is routinely updated to keep up with changes to Blender.
    • Course is deep enough that even experienced Blender users find it illuminating.
    • Subject matter is perhaps divided into too many small pieces and goes from accessible to cumbersome.
    • Supplemental resources are light for a Udemy class.
    • Use of keyboard shortcuts without explanation makes some sections a little harder to follow.

Covers Blender from complete beginner concepts. Videos are step by step with key presses shown in lower right corner. Course being updated and with content added to at the time of this review. I'm half way through the course and have learned so much already.

By Arend Westdorp on 10/3/2020

The course is excellent. Good pace and explanations. It leaves just enough for the student to fins some things out for him/her self. Also when a question is posted it is answered very fast. I would recommend this course to anyone.

By Mani Paret on 9/1/2020

This is a very good course with good samples and projects. However i would prefer the course is updated to Blender 2.8 or 2.9 based instructions.

By Abhishek Verma on 9/25/2020

A great experience so far. I am not afraid of these multiple windows in blender anymore. I hope the instructors introduce the remaining section in 2.8 as well, since 2.9 has already been released. Waiting for destructino and CGI part.

By Hamza Sharawi on 8/14/2020

it is just awesome I really didn't expect that I'm gonna learn all of these things and I didn't expect that I'm gonna be able to do projects like professionals so I cant that you enough for that

By Anthony Bell on 8/1/2020

I can't recommend this course enough if you want to learn how to do 3d modeling. Before the course I felt somewhat intimidated when I had to go into blender but now I feel comfortable and confident working on 3d models in blender.

By Pradeep Kumar N on 4/11/2020

It's a nice course and gives you complete insight about the blender tools. Though some of the courses are still getting updated, it doesn't matter, you still endup learning the basic concept. These basics remain same in all the versions of blender. Over all it was a great learning experience. my journey begins in exploring the software further.

By Jorge Rodrguez on 11/14/2020

Blender 2.8
2.8x

Great course for beginners since it cover really well basic Blender features. Certainly could've been better especially at "video game-oriented" aspect of it but when taking into consideration only blender great nevertheless.

By David Thornton on 9/15/2020

Mike and Rick are excellent teachers. This course really got me excited about using Blender and modeling/sculpting. I'm excited to see the rest of the lectures get added in Blender 2.8 so I can finish the course properly.

By Douaa Hassan on 9/25/2020

the course is very diachronic in terms of the instructors and the updates, how can you just change a whole content without highlighting the updated lectures, u didn't even care to rename them so it would be easier if I ever wanted to get back to one reference one day, the teaching method is also very poor, sadly it was a waste of time and money
