Course Description

In the world of digital we know pixels.and we know vector, but what about the physical look you get taking acrylic paints and sweeping around the canvas freely without having to worry about nodes and strokes, and for that matter what about the canvas..how can we duplicate that look to take our digital art to the next level ?
What if you could blend the organic feeling of natural materials with the convenience and portability of digital.we got you covered. PLUS we have teamed up with a successful gallery artist to teach you HIS methods for creation in the physical world PLUS I will be adapting and showing you using Affinity Designer how to do this in the real world as well.
  • Use physical materials to create brush sets and canvas' that look and act like those in the real world
  • Balance dynamics of pattern and stroke along with color to create stunning and complex art pieces

We packed a fun and information filled session with Bryson Bost creating a piece for an upcoming show into a course and then showed you how to do everything he is doing in Affinity Designer. From creating canvas textures to the stroke brush packs and even showing you how to do a bronze pen .we got it all. From start to finish with 2 heavyweight artists for you to learn from and reach out to
This course is a hands on approach where you CAN take your physical materials and we show you how to move them into your digital world..or if you do not physically want to make your material.then we show you and give you access to ours ALREADY made for you
We teach you not only the technical side, but Bryson takes you inside hiw creative process and shows you how to develop DYNAMICS, use his DOT SYSTEM, and be free with color and pattern to lead the eye through a complex piece of art.
In this course we teach you to harmonize your physical art with your digital at and step OUTSIDE of what you know and get uncomfortable working in a new and free way..totally unlike what we traditionally do with vector

With over 20 years tattooing , and almost 40 of being a creative I have been into art since I got something I can draw with in my hand. Starting out in more traditional mediums I cut my teeth in pencil, charcoal, and acrylic painting until discovering tattooing. This began a love affair with art and lead me to open 7th seasons studios. Nothing inspires a higher level of perfection than knowing the client will walk around with my art for the rest of their lives.
After completing a masters in business and having to manage the marketing of a successful shop I quickly realized that the future of art is digital and I began making my own show banners and managing my own website. This sealed the deal and digital art has replaced the traditional pen an ink for me.
Furthermore the industry has changed to such a degree that more and more clients and artists are demanding digital skills i the design and application of art, and so I saw a significantly under served market in people with existing talent, but lacking digital
As a career teacher the most rewarding portion of what i do is seeing someone learn what they previously thought what out of reach and gain a confidence through the learning process....I identify with that because i m a firm believer in the beginner mindset and the idea of a life long learner. To me, art is as essential as breathing and I cannot even narrow down all the ways I express myself through various mediums, that is one of the best competitive advan

I loved watching Bryson making the patterns, really took me back to my childhood when I used to draw patterns over my exercise books etc. I now feel I understand the process of making brushes a lot better and am beginning to master mask layers. I have also learned a lot about adjustment layers - brilliant!

I wanted to take this course to get better at making textured backgrounds and this course definitely gave me the proper foundations for that skill. Also, the techniques taught here for making abstract art are really great as well. Great course

I am learning loads already on how to rasterize the image and turn it into a pixel image. And then make some cool art pieces into digital art so I can start making some real extra cash in the bank. Art for me is a great way of expressing myself and helping me get through the depression which I had for many many years. This course is brilliant. Learning how to do art work digitally, is so cool and relaxing. And now I know how to do brushes is one step further in my training. The future's bright the future's art.

Very informative and this inspires me to do this exercise

Really enjoyed this course. Was certainly out of "comfort zone" but also easy to understand with good tips, useful information, and great "think outside the box" creativity.

As always amazing

Yes, I like the way it is going so far. There are places where the instructors go a little fast but so far is OK.

Pretty awesome how they filmed it.
