I wouldn't say I know C sharp now, but at the least this course teaches the very basics. Without integrating visual studio or any advanced software its tough to grasp bigger concepts. Lessons were short and packed with information. I would have liked to see more details on other commands, maybe some projects and quizzes?

If you are looking to purchase this course, look for something else until the following issues are resolved. The video quality is blurred and illegible. Mr. Bura does a good job of narrating what we can't read for ourselves, but that's just a crutch. The course needs to either be re-shot or pulled from the Udemy rotation of classes.Further, Mr. Bura has refused to respond to any of the questions posed in the Discussion section, including another one posted three months ago also regarding video quality. It is possible that he responded privately, but then why have a Discussion board for the class in the first place? Bad course.

The instructor did a great job of covering a ton of material in a short period of time. This course gives you a great foundation.

Great for beginners, I'm already familiar with Java and the bulk of the code was literally the same, but the lecturer did a great job introducing basic concepts in C# language!Another thing I liked was this course didn't promise an "Ultimate" guide like many other lecturers on Udemy that barely scratch the surface.

Good course for introducing some of the major fundamentals. I was a little surprised they introduced doubles rather than floats and didn't cover modulus.Plus, coding in C# wasn't something I expected to be able to do from my iPad but the browser based compiler worked just fine. The only real issue I see is the price point. Udemy courses are all overpriced but many become reasonable with the deep discounts (60%+) that pop up occasionally. This is one of those courses. I personally would estimate the value around $30-40 but if it were in-line with other udemy courses it would probably price between $50-100. My browser listed $399 for this course a few minutes ago and that's just outrageous. Don't know if that's a typo or my browser, but there is no way it's worth a weeks pay (@$10/hr). Sorry John, I have quite a few of your courses but that's crazy talk.

It is a nice little intro that explains some basic concepts (initiate variables, simple math operations, if conditions, for loops) via video lectures. Suitable for people that want to spend 1 - 2 h to dip their toes in C# and then proceed with more advanced courses.

I been waiting for an answer for 2 months in a video so badly recorded that you can't watch what he does on the screen. A waste of money and don't expect answers to your questions.

Video quality is unsatisfactory.1. Instructor needs to tell students that pressing the "HD" button at the bottom of the screen might increase video quality immensely. (It did for me.) I went through six lessons, unable to read the code. It took a comment from another student (instructor apparently hadn't figured it out four months after the first complaint) for me to clear up the text.2. Even cleared up, the text is way to small to be clearly seen on the screen. When I do on-screen or in-class code, I always increase the size of the font until the code is as big as I can get it on the screen. That way it can be read by all.3. Suggestion: Cleaning up simple, but important technical issues quickly, lets the student concentrate on the course materials, not on the poor quality of the presentation.

For a beginner, it's really easy to have an overview of C#.Thanks,

This course is a good one if someone wants to get the basics right! It walk throughs all the BASICS that we need to know C#. People might ask that if I am so impressed by this course then why a 3 star rating? The very first reason is that the instructor does not use screen capturing at the best. He just types the code in full screen mode which is really difficult to understand. And second, that the instructor is really inactive I suppose. A person asked a question a month ago and still no reply for him.Keeping these factors in mind, I gave this course a 3 star rating.
