The course was excellent and very stimulating and enlightening. I took my time and practiced and revisited anything I didnt understand, and it paid off - and looking forward to week five now!

I found the instruction clear and informative. I definitely recommend this to beginners in drawing and I think this instructor does a great job with his courses based on what I've seen so far. Thank you.

I love it! The instructor, Mr. Brent Eviston, is articulate (this helps a lot for a good comprehension), he loves what he's teaching and is knowledgeable about it and at transmitting the skills. He also is positive and encourages students to practice in order to get better at a skill.

I am enjoying the course. It has taught me a number of new techniques. I am still new at drawing and sketching.

This is such a good course, with real - and very fast - feedback on the homework you submit. Very good and professional teacher. Much more than you would expect from an online course. Highly recommendable.

The basic skills in drawing of forms by imagining the hidden forms of ellipses and cylinders in them was very well explained and demonstrated. Also, the depth of an object in drawing by understanding the vanishing point was taught in a very simplistic and comprehensible manner. I have benefited very well from these lessons.

The instructions are easy to follow and the repetition of certain aspects helps to keep me grounded. I cannot believe the progress I have made.

i would like him to go into linear perspective with boxes not just tilt your eyes..

As a beginner my drawings are becoming more believable and easier to construct as I apply the theories, techniques and practices that the instructor recommended and taught. I am looking forward to the latter half of this eight week course and see how far I can really go with my art. I highly recommend this eight week course to anyone, whether you are a beginner or more advanced.

The Art and Science of Drawing course continues to be an invaluable guide as I attempt to improve my drawing ability. Mr. Eviston's method is by far the most effective I have come across and I have tried several other similar online courses. The combination of thorough and detailed breakdown of the essential theory paired with practical applications and projects to clearly illustrate that theory is powerful and has resulted in noticeable improvement to my drawing practice. Can't wait to start the next section!
