This course is very clear and concise, and the lessons are considerably interesting, all the while not being to long at only 3-5mins on average; I never fell asleep.This course will give you a broad view knowledge of each of the features available in Affinity Designer. If you need a long drawn out course that digs deep into the inner workings of features with projects then you will step up to a different 20hr course (but that may take too long for some people to get up and running), I like this course as I now feel confident to use the software I bought.I highly recommend this course!

This course gives a very thorough introduction to the program itself - what all the buttons, tools, menus, effects, etc., do. So if you are wondering what that button over there does, Dawid probably will tell you. If not, just ask him, he will answer! It does need some updating for AD version 1.7 because things are different there (I believe he is working on that). And it is not really a project based class, there are no "assignments" to draw a scene or a dog, etc. But I did follow along either just trying all the things he did, or attempting to replicate some of the artwork he had on his screen. I had taken another AD class before this which was about creating 2D art and while it was also very good, the instructor only explained the tools, etc., that you needed to get each project done. It left me not knowing what 50% or more of what the software could do, which is what lead me to taking this class. I feel more comfortable getting around the program now and look forward to the other classes of Dawid's that I have already signed up for. He's a very good teacher! Thanks!

Great! Thorough and easy to understand. The instructor takes his time without being too slow. I learned a ton.

Accent made some keys words hard to understand. English as second language must be spoken slower and always pause slightly between words. Un like other languages do not compress words together. Also we are not in a race against time. Also he also skipped at least one mouse click that made me stop and rewind.

Loved the Course, but such a lot to take in. I found the pace rather fast for me and could not always follow which tools you were pointing out. The best help was the green encircling of items that were being used. I certainly will have to repeat this Course quite a few times. Also, the volume of the Course on my Mac Book Pro was not loud enough so I had to download the app Boom 2 to enhance the sound.
