I'm Angela, I'm a developer with a passion for teaching. I'm the lead instructor at the London App Brewery, London's leading Programming Bootcamp. I've helped hundreds of thousands of students learn to code and change their lives by becoming a developer. I've been invited by companies such as Twitter, Facebook and Google to teach their employees.

My first foray into programming was when I was just 12 years old, wanting to build my own Space Invader game. Since then, I've made hundred of websites, apps and games. But most importantly, I realised that my greatest passion is teaching.

I spend most of my time researching how to make learning to code fun and make hard concepts easy to understand. I apply everything I discover into my bootcamp courses. In my courses, you'll find lots of geeky humour but also lots of explanations and animations to make sure everything is easy to understand.

I'll be there for you every step of the way.

One of the BEST courses that I've enrolled for. The detailed explanation of the topics using intuitive animations and the projects and challenges that this course offers are really worth it. Also, you're gonna enjoy the nerdy Angela jokes throughout the course. *****************Even 5 stars are less******************

This is indeed the best course on development I have ever taken, I have brought a few courses on here, but the amount of information in these lessons are priceless. Angela is an awesome teacher. I understood everything in this course

a great instructor really she is an instructor, a bit to need attention is the errors I got from the same code she wrote and how to get an exact answer from her view is a little hard, of course it is very hard every laptop level and answers everything, still has a little disconnect with that issues.

An almost complete course in web development. This course does not teach you all the frameworks, but no course ever will because new frameworks are developed almost everyday. What this course teaches is the idea that it is ok to look for help on the internet and it promotes the curiosity to try something new. As a mechanical engineering graduate decades ago, I now write desktop app (using C#) at an engineering consulting firm for a living. Initially, I tried out this course in my own time just for fun. Halfway through this course, the GUI part of my project at work got corrupted (thank you Microsoft) and I thought the old GUI looked very dated. I decide to rewrite the entire front end of the desktop app by embedding a chromium browser, write all the GUI in html, and have my back end code interact with using a mix of C# and javascript. This course taught me how to create a very dynamic desktop app and, as a mech eng by nature, I'm planning on getting more into IoT. I do have 2 nitpicks. I find the explanation in the node.js/express version a bit lacking. I would like to know exactly what is going on with the boilerplate codes. Along the same line, I think this course needs a little more fundamental on javascript. Just today, I used a setTimeout() function in my for loop and wasn't getting what I was expecting. Skipping past the stackoverflow at the top, I reached articles discussing concepts such as about callstack, web api, async, await, promise, etc. I realize that these are not simple concepts and I definitely would have been lost reading about these a few years ago. But I think it is worse for beginners to think that javascript is simple. It is deceptively simple with a few caveats that shouldn't be ignored.

she's really nice and makes the course fun, but different sections on back-end development (databases, APIs, EJS,...) definitely needed a better explanation than what has been already provided

Overall I think the course is excellent. Angela is an amazing teacher and I have learned a lot from her.I think she's really one of the best teachers on Udemy...and I also think i'm in love with her :) That said, I do think there are 2 things in this course that need to be fixed: 1) I didn't get a response to few questions I have asked her in the QA or by sending an email directly to her. 2) I think the chapter on security was rushed and felt half-baked. Angela, I wish you all the best and I'm really looking foreward for more courses from you. Thank you for all your effort. Adir

It's such an amazing course that really helps get your feet wet in a lot of different frameworks. Angela includes very useful graphics that help visualize what you are doing, and her projects are actually very fun to do. She also includes many helpful tips and insights on what you can expect when you're doing web development as a job - which that alone is pretty valuable. The only two cons: 1. In some instances, she moves pretty quickly without properly explaining what you're doing. In some instances, it just feels as though you're copying her code. You'll have to do research outside of this course regardless, but this will add an unnecessary amount of time spent looking for sources that clarify what you're doing. 2. She has seemingly abandoned the QandA. I'm not sure how uDemy works and if it's normal for instructors not to engage in QandAs, but many questions are answered by other students. That is all. I just want people to know what to expect, more-or-less. It's still worth the price paid.

This is a very ambitious course, and while it contains great information that's clearly explained, it falls down with the support. While Angela has obviously moved on to other projects, it would have been nice to have a support team in place to guide and help in Q and A section like many other courses that contain large content. Hence the mark down.
