Course was last updated around 2017 so it doesn't have the most up to date information. Good if you're just looking to learn to understand the basic concepts.

Awesome course! Taught me what I needed in a reasonable amount of time. Now I can go on to create email templates.

Should come with a cheat sheet that includes acceptable tags like html 5 video. I also thought that this was going to give me more definitive rules that would show me how to take a row with 2 columns and break it down to one row for mobile.

Overall, very well organized and presented. However, I do feel like the presenter sometimes rushed through what code to add without giving enough of an explanation as to why or the underlying principles. Also, the content is a little dated in that it appears to have been created in 2016. This is especially apparent in the validation and testing section.

Good course. Learned a lot in a short time. Def going to want to watch it a few times.

So far it's a good match. It would be good to know ahead what tools we need (ie. coda and photoshop) ahead of time and also if the teacher spoke a little slower. Also this course is more suitable for folks who have an intermediate knowledge of basic HTML/CSS.

It was a good course, would have been better if he could have gone over it a bit slowly and with more content.

Unfortunately the course has not been updated since 2017 - for instance, Gmail does now support responsiveness, apparently. The course is great but could really benefit from being updated to take into account new developments. For instance, when I validate my inline code, I get errors for most of the code for the embedded video section - the tutorial only shows that alt tag errors have been picked up for the icons, and no other errors. Without being an HTML & CSS developer (I'm a designer), I'm guessing these other errors are showing up because the doctype rules may have changed since 2017? I would love for the author to add a few videos highlighting changes that may have happened since the release of this course - It would get a higher rating if it was more current.

Quite good course and covers a lot of ground, and explains quite a lot.

Overall its a great course. It not only introduces you to creating an html email, but also covers additional details like troubleshooting problems for different email clients. I think the pace is a bit fast and e.g. the different padding and margin settings remain unexplained. It might be a good idea to just open the final version of the html file and follow only Chriss comments. All in all, this course is really well built and the advantage of an online course is that you can rewatch videos for better understanding.

With only having familiarity with index.html, this is very helpful in learning email.html!
This video was undoubtedly helpful, and I walked out knowing more than I did at the start. However, I was hoping to learn more about setting up testing through Litmus. I feel it was essentially just stated which testing site he prefers while listing all of the options.

Some of this content was dated, but some of it was also still relevant and helpful.
