I enjoyed the course. I would have rather more views of the product as we were going through it to see it coming together instead of waiting until the end in sections 31-33 instead of just looking at codes, but overall I love the course

the course was helpful

Yes. It looks fantastic.

It was great to have two projects to follow along with; however, some typos and errors like the video typos and the files supplied not matching what's in the video prevent me from giving it full marks. The instructor was good but needed to edit better.

I knew how to make websites already but this course is a great one for making them responsive as it implies! Web coders always are reviewing during builds and this is great because you do not have to thumb through a book and can have it as handy as a smartphone! This not only teaches you the techniques but the course shows you great organizational methods also (which many seem to lack). Each folder has a clear purpose indicated by the name and files are labeled both externally and internally so even if you write them and 2 years or so later make edits it is quick to get back to where you left off. Being responsive opens a whole new world to where your sites are way ahead of the curve since many people view on a smart phone or a tablet. These people with smaller screens will not have to magnify and left right scroll to read your content or hit buttons. It amazes me how few people demand for a responsive page! This course is well worth the money and you can customize the site you build using these techniques easily so it looks exactly how you want it. No wordpress type template crap is needed. Templates suck take this course and make your own design!!!!

Great course. Gave me better insight as to what I can do with CSS when it comes to smaller screens. Course was better than what I learned in an 11 week college class on HTML and CSS.

While it is a good tutorial, the intsructor did not go into enough detail and explanation about this course. Without the further explanations it makes it hard to port this to other website design. He also copy and pastes a lot of material that was pre-made up and that takes away from the learning. I could get this on youtube for free. It is not worth the money spent on the course/tutorial.

Pretty good so far, easy to understand.
BUT:
It would be good to have a downloadable workbook with some of the settings in print.
It can be difficult to follow quickly enough on screen and I have to stop start to see all the print.
I got a long way into the exercise and found that way back at the beginning I had a typo of sreen_style.css instead of screen_style.css. consequently, none of my CSS instructions were working on the page.

By Leigh Anne Gilbert on 4/1/2016

almost there, just a bit of trouble with the html file pulling the css files

By Paul Wilson on 3/3/2016

great even presentation. Have not learned much but it is a very good explanation.
Got tired of watching instructor type code without much explanation ... just telling me what I can see he is typeing
