They say teaching is the highest form of understanding and I couldn't agree more. Ihave been tutoring / mentoring in person for the last 10 years and have decided to take on the online world. By profession, Iam a Principal Process Engineer with a MEng Chemical Engineering degree.
I've been passionate about coding from a young age. Icreated my first website at the age of 12 in 2003, having taught myself HTML. I then went on to learn PHPand SQL which Iused to create a text-based MMORPGand subsequentlysold when Iwas 16. In the last few years Ihave learnt Python for my job role and Ifeel comfortable teaching it to others and in return solidifying my own understanding.
I run a web/graphic design company, ChaseFX. I'm a massive film buff, having seen over 1500 and counting..

The course covers basics of Python in an engaging manner. The exercises and quizzes are fun and make you think, especially new programmers. Recommend taking the course as it gives you the information to being with.
A suggestion for referring online resources and links to some of the most used libraries should be added.
I took half star off as the exercises test very specific results and generate errors for subtle points. I ended up installing Python IDLE for practicing and experimenting with the code.

First let me talk about myself. I am a Mechanical Engineer will very bad coding education. I had C++, Java and Visual Basics but absolutely no basic foundation in coding.
I saw this course and started doing it. It is in a very simple language. There are exercises after few lessons so that you can apply what you have learnt. Make notes in a notebook so that you can refer in future.
Now let's talk about Adam, the Course Instructor. He goes at sufficient speed for beginners like me. The video lectures are not long so they are not boring. He will not spoon feed you. You can ask him doubts and he replies within 12 hours. Keep patience.
If you want to learn more about him and python, join this course.
Highly recommended.
