Pronunciation, writing and reading of basic characters, how to make NOUN-based sentences, and how to ask and answer questions using these sentences. Conversational topics include: greetings, self-introductions, finding locations, asking for personal information such as names, home countries, occupations, ages, and telephone numbers, talking about family, ordering things, and shopping.

The course was very easy to understand and the teacher was very thorough when explaining new concepts. The systematic nature of the course ensures that you don't forget what you learnt after one lesson, and remembering words and phrases becomes much easier with this method. The course was very helpful for an absolute beginner like myself to begin learning Japanese and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly introduction to learning the language.

Not a good match for me.....but I am going to try for a little longer to see if it improves.
The main introduction of 15 minutes is a long time to talk about your personal program.
First native speaker I have ever seen who could not spell hiragana. Also, my first experience with a native speaker who believes that the letter "L" exists in Japanese. Spelling and pronunciation are not the same skill set.
Presentation is based in a classroom setting. The constant repetition from the students does little to enhance the instruction.
