This is a compact JMeter course aimed at manual testers who have never done load testing. It runs about 8 hours across 48 lectures and 16 short sections. The syllabus goes from recording scripts with the proxy through thread groups, assertions, controllers, timers, regular expressions and data-driven runs. It then adds BeanShell, non-GUI mode, distributed testing and basic server monitoring. Rahul Shetty teaches it, and it has about 125,000 students and a Bestseller badge.

Reviewers like the clear, detailed explanations and say the course gave them real hands-on practice. Of the 26,199 ratings, roughly 22,700 are four or five stars. The complaints are consistent, though. Several 2026 reviewers call the content outdated: one says it starts on an older JMeter and jumps to a newer version in later chapters, another says the whole course runs on an old JMeter and Firefox. A few find the accent hard to follow, and others want the documents shown in the lectures shared. One reviewer says a demo app only ran on Windows, which blocked the correlation exercise.

The last update was July 2025, so the tooling is not fresh. Low-star reviewers call the content fundamental and say people need to learn more elsewhere to build production-grade tests. It also skips CI/CD integration. As a first look at what JMeter does and how a test plan is built, it works well and is short enough to finish in a week. Treat it as a foundation, then move on to something newer if your work involves pipelines or heavy scripting.

good lecture and easy to understand for performance testing point of view, it will need to add few more topic related to performance engineering side also then this will be more helpful. its good lecture for basic knowledge of jmeter.

Everything is good, but you tend to deliver the answer instead of helping people learn. For users who can't download resources or access certain materials, it's better to guide them through the learning process rather than simply providing the final output. Focus more on explaining the flow, the reasoning, and alternative approaches so they can understand and solve similar problems on their own, instead of responding like a robot.

Some hands-on sections were done on an application that is working only on windows and sometimes (for example the correlation section) I couldn't find alternative to try the same scenario

Only drawback is the website give is not accessible. Also I have uninstalled but when i try to rerun it throws error. If the student cannot open a website the tutor should solve the issue. But I heard that few of his student are able to do and its straight forward. But its not so i hope tutor take this as feedback and try to address all issue of the students
