I like the content and the clear pathways, but I feel like the intro was repetitive. Additionally, there are resources to the side that I'm not sure when to use. Some of them linked to another course to get additional information, which I thought was odd. Why would I be taking this course, then be redirected to another course to get more information? I should learn all the things you intend to teach in this course!
I thought this is a good overview for surface-level understanding of UX. There are a lot of methodologies in UX research & design, and I like this course for how it broke down how to approach a design challenge in a methodical way. However, a lot of the explanations for the Why's and What's weren't very in depth. For example, the product critique portion sets up a good way to evaluate an app with the "before, during, after" context, but does not go more in-depth on how to connect product design decisions with business objectives. I think giving more concrete examples on that would be more valuable.
There are other portions where I wish the content/teaching was more applicable. For example, the creation of a micro-interaction on Origami Sketch was interesting, but it would've been more impactful if we were taught a micro-interaction that connected to a direct objective of the example at the time. Instead, it was just a first-time use tutorial on how to turn down the opacity.
I like the course for it's systemic answers to design challenges, and I wish there was more content on how to connect context of the problems with the solutions that were brainstormed in the diverging step.
