The Complete Sketch 5 Course - Design Apps & Websites 2021 (Udemy.com)

A nice and detailed course on using Sketch. It took me from knowing almost nothing to feeling confident I can produce design work. Also learned a bit about design, but I don't think learning design per se was the mandate. Plenty of Sketch though, down and dirty. I recommend this course.

Great course. Very detailed. It starts to drag on towards the last part of the course. I'm not sure if Section 12, "Spendo Landing Page", needed to be over 3 hours long. Sections 13 - 15 were useful but they were all introductory sections on broader topics, so not sure if they provide enough value. But the course in itself is great and the teacher explains concept in a clear manner.

I've messed around in Sketch before but never sat down to really learn the program. A former colleague referred this course to me and I'm happy they did. This course in my opinion was very thorough and comprehensive. The only reason I'm giving this 4 1/2 stars is because I think some videos should be updated because of updates to the Sketch program itself. Besides that I think this might be the best course on learning Sketch.

I highly recommend this course. Andrew explains clearly all details and directs you to reach the goal step by step. The material covers fundamental knowledge and techniques which you need to begin your journey ,however the course is not only about using software and tools, but at the end you will learn how an UI designer think and how looks like a designing path. If you haven't any design experience this is the perfect course for you! It is a well thought step by step guide so you gain confidence in working with this easy program! When you finish the course you´ll have a good understanding of Sketch. I was only interested in wireframing ...but it´s quite easy to move to higher fidelity options + include animations! Also easy to understand how to download libraries and so on! The quality of the videos sometimes is poor..but still easy to follow! Version of sketch is older...but still, easy to follow! As i said, for beginners in this field, the course is very good!

Die Erklärungen der technischen Komponente sind sehr gut. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass mehr auf die strategisch-konzeptionellen Aspekte für User Interface Design eingegangen wird, wie zum Beispiel der Navigationstree, vielleicht ist es auch schon eher Teil von UX-Design... (?) Aber im großen und ganzen habe ich nach diesem Kurs einen sehr sicheren Umgang mit Sketch, was ich in einer 4 Wöchigen Weiterbildung nicht erhalten hatte, also Top!

I have completed the course and i already feel like i can do this all by myself. Thank you Andrew for being such a wonderful course teacher, he's indeed very clear in explaining the concepts and making sure it is easily understood and it can be easily remembered by us. He's made learning fun using the course project and i feel confident about whatever i have learnt. I am confident on working on freelance projects all by myself from now on.

If you had experience with similar tools like Balsamiq, Axure, Uxpin etc, this course isn't very challenging. Andrew gave some good tips, but I wish he could shorten some of the course content. He forgot to group one element in web design hero part, and he didn't catch that in the continuing class or revise later on. I might be a bit picky. Overall, it is good for a beginner who wants to be a UI/UX designer. A bit too basic for people who already have some design experience with other tools.

I started this course not knowing anything about sketch. It is good for beginners, however sketch has upgraded the version to 55.5. There are slight difference to the previous version. I like how Andrew conducted the lessons, he was clear and communicate effectively. He has also provided some tips, useful resources online for users to work on and developed. Thank you very much, I now has a basic background of user experience design and sketch.

I was totally naive to sketch before taking this course but now i feel much more confident in using the tool and bringing my ideas to life. Andrew is enthusiastic and is really aware of what he is explaining. The only drawback was the UX section which can be explained more with real time examples but that doesn't take anything away i definitely recommend the course to anyone wanting to learn sketch. Thanks!
