Travis Wilkerson (AKA Trader Travis) is the lead stock option trader and founder of the Option Profit Formula Success Academy. He has published well over $3,000 of free information through his website TraderTravis (dot) com
Travis invested in stocks and mutual funds, with minimal success before he learned about stock options. He has now been trading options on a full time basis since early 2004. Initially, he was motivated to learn about options trading because he was in the middle of a real estate business failure.
One of Travis's friends introduced him to someone whom he believed could help. He was a multi-millionaire and had been trading stock options for 20+ years. The first thing he did was teach Travis some basic budgeting skills so that he would not end up in the same financial mess years later.
As the lessons progressed, his mentor eventually taught him about stock options and how to trade them successfully. The experience proved to be invaluable. Within three months Travis had tripled his account size.

Broken and humiliated Travis took a few years off from trading. He eventually went back to the basics and started all over again, this time giving up on the idea of getting rich quick.
