Experience as (Web) Developer

Starting out at the age of 13 I never stopped learning new programming skills and languages. Early I started creating websites for friends and just for fun as well. Besides web development I also explored Python and other non-web-only languages. This passion has since lasted and lead to my decision of working as a freelance web developer and consultant. The success and fun I have in this job is immense and really keeps that passion burningly alive.
Starting web development on the backend (PHP with Laravel, NodeJS, Python) I also became more and more of a frontend developer using modern frameworks like React, Angular or VueJS 2 in a lot of projects. I love both worlds nowadays!
As a self-taught developer I had the chance to broaden my horizon by studying Business Administration where I hold a Master's degree. That enabled me to work in a major strategy consultancy as well as a bank. While learning, that I enjoy development more than these fields, the time in this sector greatly improved my overall experience and skills.
Experience as Instructor
As a self-taught professional I really know the hard parts and the difficult topics when learning new or improving on already-known languages. This background and experience enables me to focus on the most relevant key concepts and topics. My track record of many 5-star rated courses, more than 700,000 students on Udemy as well as a successful YouTube cha

Above expectations isn't accurate because my expectations form Maximillian courses are very high. But it meets my expectations. Yet another great course from this author! Really worth it!

Course was good, able to differentiate between es5 an es6 which was great. I felt very few examples in latest features in es6 but over all the course was good.

Really good and detailed course, one video is outdated where Max was using XMLHttpRequest to get a JSON object, but overall I really like this course and looking forward for a new updated courses from Max!

This is an excellent course for getting up to speed on es6. The only feedback I have for Max is that I would love to see a quick video updating the module import process for present-day. Will say the resources found in this class definitely points you in the right direction.Got a little overwhelmed with the idea of Proxies, but the application project cleared up most of my issues. Great job! Would recommend this to anyone who is playing catch up from es5, and anyone who just wants a solid walkthrough of the newer jams.Would suggest breaking this up into 3 days at 2/3 hours each sitting. There is a lot of condensed info here, I found absorbing it way easier by taking breaks.

Maximilian as always delivers a clear and interesting course with a good project. I like the way the project was left until the end so as not to distract from the learning part. There wasn't as much content as i expected in this course compared to his others.

very nice course! near excellent until Reflect and Proxy APIs .....For me as a newbie in web development i didn't understand almost anything, especially on Proxies .....

I would much prefer Max to use ES6 arrow notation everywhere to be consistent with the title of the course. Everything else until now had been satisfactory.

I learned a lot of new things regarding this topic. Maximilian is very clear and his hands-on examples are easy to follow and understand.

Its awesome! I learned alot of very interesting tactics and features in here! Great work!

Max is an excellent teacher! This is a great resource for learning ES6 updates to Javascript...

Always useful staff. And Academind keeps on doing a lot of great content which is not easy to do. Respect the guy, hark worker.
