  1. Why Programming?

You may already have used software, perhaps for word processing or spreadsheets like Excel, to solve problems. Perhaps now you are curious to learn how

programmers write software and want to make awesome games.

A program is a set of step-by-step instructions that directs the computer to do the

The course is essential if you want to start something more advanced. let's say is the box where you'll need to put all what you'll learn later. Is not a full 5 stars for the lack of practical exercises between lessons.

This course is aimed at making you able to build basic games using Unity not to teach you C# and for that, it does the job. If you're learning other coding languages or even C# in another course or you already know a coding language, this course will strike you as overly simple. So if that describes you, you got no business taking this course. Otherwise, this is a good course to stoke interest and get you on the road to making games. If you like it, you will search for more knowledge.I'm in the process of learning Python, C++ and C but I'm curious about Unity so, I'm enjoying a peek into how it works. Seeing C#, I can see the similarities and I understand iteration and loops but didn't know you used them for character generation, but then it makes sense. So I did learn something important!

Class deserves 5+ stars! Both the class and instructor go above and beyond. I really enjoyed the enthusiasm and excitement of the instructor and the lessons were not boring and dull. He made the class engaging and fun! I recommend this course to any beginner starting out. I will definitely be taking more courses with Yohann and I highly recommend this course for Unity beginners.

Yohann explains key concepts but if you are a Total beginner is probably not a course for you. Don't think this course is good value for money, especially for somebody who knows nothing about coding.

The course content is well laid out for beginner to Unity and C#. It has all the necessary elements to prepare a student for other courses of higher level.Instructor explains the connection between Unity and C# and how to play with variables in between these two, which I think is important in the game development process. All the skills learnt here will help to speed my learning in advancing courses.

The course does what Yohann designed it to do. That goal was to give a beginner an introduction into Unity's interface and coding concepts. I think it's a great course to get you started with Unity and I learned quite a bit. Thanks, Yohann!

I was expecting a deeper overview, the last couple of videos have been great and I will enroll for other courses as well, thank you Yohann :)

If you're just getting started with Unity, I think you'll get a good foundation with this course. The instructor doesn't give you information overload like too many "beginner" courses that I've seen. He provides you with just enough to get you started as a complete beginner. So, if you're not a complete beginner, this is probably not the course for you. I myself am not a complete beginner, but I wanted to start with this course before taking the Crossy Road & Pixel Art courses, just to be more thorough. Based on this course, I highly recommend this instructor.
