Course Description

Hi there. My name is Saroar and I will be the instructor for this course
After take this course you can submit your Rails project to your own server and I had to go through some easy steps to get your Rails app up and running with the best possible conditions. Why you should use your own server. When the time comes to deploy your Ruby on Rails application, you have a lot of options. You could use one of the platform as a service (PaaS) offerings such as Heroku. They do all of the server management and most of the database management. You just have to "git push heroku master" to deploy your app. However, there are trade offs. Your app has to work within their infrastructure and it can start to get very costly as you scale up.
Another option is to deploy your rails app to your own server. This has the huge advantage of you being able to full control your entire environment and also be able to choose the provider and Good news in this course I will add $10 as gift for two months after you just have to create your account on DigitalOcen using my link which i will add my 1st lecture.
So If you really interested and want you deploy your Rails apps in your own server I will teach you most easiest way and take full control as BOSS than just come to inside and see lots of magic.Who this course is for:
  • Create server deployment on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with security
  • How to install Ruby
  • How to install NginX
  • How to Config Unicorn for Rails apps
  • Postgresql
  • Using Mina and Redis for deployment

When I finish development my first rails application, I don't know how to get the server up and running, Thank goodness, I learned a lot deploy related knowledge through this course! Hopefully the teacher can add more content to the crouse, For example, rails cache setting, puma……

The setting files are not very accurate with the comments and it looks like they have not been updated.

This course is horrible, if you want to see someone copy pasting the terminal commands without any explanation then you want to watch this course. This course is useless. Do not waste your time.

Documentação (e tipografia) confusa, faltando informações sobre que ambientes (se desenvolvimento ou de produção) os comandos devem ser executados.

Ez and Fast to deploy yr RoR app. Thx!

I actually used this course with learning AWS. I moved on from the Unicorn/Mina setup in the course to a Passenger/Capistrano setup but this course helped a great deal with understanding Ubuntu & Nginx. Of course, I used many other tutorials and blog posts to fill in the gaps for my purposes, but this course is solid to help in understanding how to get an instance set up properly. Great job Saroar and thank you.

searching lots in google i lost my time and make myself confuse but after take your course i was so happy it was very easy to follow and without any problem i finished now i have my one ruby on rails deploy server with good security :) its work fine thanks you are awesome instructor hope we will see your more course in Udemy

Best of luck

i strongly recommended this for beginner who need there own rail deploy server

Good course. Thank you for getting understanding of the process.

The title is misleading.

The author directs you to log into a hosting site and pay for a hosting setup. Very disappointed.
