I am probably intermediate in my SQL skills, but I am not confident so I purchased this class. Just now (25% done) this class is starting to pay off. I did not understand the difference between Select Distinct and Group By, but this lecture helped me solve a real issue at my job.
** Update ** I am now more than 60% done and I really like this teacher. He builds on the knowledge from previous lectures and naturally brings in things you learned earlier giving you more applications. He goes a little slow, but I can watch it at 1.5 speed and it's perfect.

No wonder this was 14 hours course. The instructor wasted a lot of time creating tables and correcting his spelling. There was no effort of editing the recording. I really didnâ€™t like he said â€œThis is nothing, butâ€¦..â€ for most of his conclusion statements. Also he said â€œOKâ€ all the time. Itâ€™s like he was talking to the kids. Comparing to Microsoft SQL for Beginners by Brewster Knowlton, this one was couple level down.
The instructor has extensive knowledge on the subject. He knows what he is doing. But he needs some training on how to teach.

Lecturer is using a lot of filling words, says some words incorrectly, repeats simple concepts multiple times and then takes time to write them down! A complete waste of money and more importantly, time.
