This course is an exploration of solo and collaborative Source Control Management with the intention of expanding and improving your confidence and expertise with Git. You'll begin with a brief overview of Source Control Management before setting up and verifying your Git installation. Very good course on git, but more of a primer than a "master"

There is some more to learn on git to become a master

I would like to see a chapters on git-hooks and some more "real work" examples.

This course gives a good introduction to most of the features of Git you'll run into when learning to use it. Considering the course is called "Mastering Git" I had expected it be go more in depth, especially on the more advanced features. While some features where covered well enough, others felt more like a quick introduction to tell that the feature existed, but not really teaching you to use it. Instructor did a good job throughout the videos and the video- and audioquality is great. Big plus for providing a repository with resources for those who wants to practice.

I'd recommend this course. I've been using git for a number of years, but without really taking the time to understand how it works. Like so many others, I've basically committed some commands to memory and stopped there. This course taught me a lot about how git works. The caveat is that it moves very fast. If you're looking for hand-holding this isn't it. You'll need to go off on your own and experiment after each section. This is the only way you'll really be able to maximize the information contained in this course.

This course cover the essential topics for using GIT however some topic like submodules and subtree are not cover that much.

This course has in-action example for demonstrate the git usage which anyone can follow.
