Phil uses a wealth of resources and personal knowledge to provide a course packed with information. I found the downloadable Master Chain especially useful and it was invaluable when mastering my own track. The pace was set just right and you can tell he is talking from experience rather than theory. Thanks for a great course which I will be revisiting each time I master my tracks.

So far so good! I'm learning a lot more tips and tricks to do for difference mixing scenarios! The envelope trick is pretty cool for multiband sidechaining! Never thought about doing that! Great work!

The course is worthwhile if, like me, you only have very basic mixing/mastering knowledge. Especially positive is the comprehensible structure and the comparison of Ableton plugins with external plugins. As with Philip's other courses, the negative thing is that he has too many repetitions of statements both between and within videos - the course length could be reduced to 2/3 without losing content.

The first part of the course about mixing... is actually not as good as I thought it could be. We actually didn't see any mixing techniques... we could see how to tweak some EQ's and other FX. Now, when It comes to the Mastering...wow! I must say I was impressed. That's actually what I really enjoyed. Anyway thank you for taking the time of preparing these videos!

The course covered some useful techniques, and has definitely helped me to expand my knowledge in both mixing and mastering, but it felt very strongly geared towards EDM music, which ultimately limited it's scope quite considerably. The mixing lessons were also more in-depth than the mastering section, which offers only a fairly brief overview of how to master tracks to sound more professional; the advice this section gives is good, but it feels more like a quick tutorial than an in-depth lesson. I'd ultimately recommend this course to those wishing to build upon their skills as EDM producers, but not so much to those wanting to learn a broader and more widely applicable skill set, and certainly not to those wishing for a genuinely thorough lesson in mastering.
