Michael Nielsen is a scientist, writer, and programmer. He works on ideas and tools that help people think and create, both individually and collectively. He is a Research Fellow at Y Combinator Research. He is also a member of the Steering Committee for the journal Distill, and writes an occasional column for Quanta Magazine.
