very good commentry, talented man to watch, don't know if you are aware that large part of the charcoal sketch, the camera work was out of focus. . . good anyway though

I'm learning a lot and my rendering skills have improved greatly by following the instructor's techniques. I feel like the parts where we were drawing separate body parts was a little rushed, but there's a pause button for a reason and I got the gist of what he was saying. hahaI want to add I just finished the first project of the female pose and render and I am astonished at my results. I am very pleased and I finally feel like I'm going in the right direction with my artwork. I still need a lot of practice though.

Outstanding course! focused on solid principles but demonstrating how to work with and apply digital painting techniques to maximum effect in a timely manner, really learned a lot from this course ... and I dont use Photoshop

Loved the techniques in this course. My work has instantly improved and it has given me so much motivation to master figure painting.

This course gives all the right information without trying to sound smart. The teacher really knows his stuff and is a pleasure to learn from.

Great course, very helpful, clearly and concisely presented information. Highly recommended!

I'll start by pointing out that Hardy is an amazing artist who could make a nice living staging painting exhibitions for audiences. I think Hardy's strength is that he knows this and in the interest of not intimidating his students is able to bring the process down to earth with a humble mannerism and easy going tone. It is helpful to have a good grip on sketching the figure as a precursor to this course as Hardy is going to impact you more with the painting and polishing process than the under-sketch. The demos are also sped up making it a little difficult to catch each nuance. I would've liked for him to have included real-time videos without the voice-overs as a bonus. Perhaps they would be 2-3 hour videos, but they would be worth watching, at least, a healthy portion of in order to pull the curtain back a little further on the process. All in all the course was great and I look forward to the one on character design painting.

While this was a very hard task. I learned so much. I don't have this version of photoshop but I know I can apply this with one of my characters i have in mind.

I'm only dipping into it at this point to make sure it's the right course for me. I have others by Hardy, so I have confidence all will be great.

I love all the courses of Hardy ..I just have to thank for all the good stuff that I learned with him ...and now I can make an Illustration with more quality and get more clients to make cool stuff :)

Great painting course, with very liberating and fresh approach.

This works for me really well. Im an experienced artist, but by no means a top one. Its working for me in three ways, firstly as pure inspiration as watching keeps you motivated. Secondly, all the tips and tricks are really helpful and the processes used are trumping my own to give me faster and better results. Thirdly its filling gaps in my basic understanding of art, important gaps that need filling and this really is useful. I think this is a great course for beginners and experienced artists and Im already implementing this into my own business with great rewards.
