At first I couldn't find all the files needed as they were not all shown as separate links. I realised after a while that all the files were in a zip file called Synologytools! I'm hoping that there will be some reference to security (given this is quite an old version) and that at the end of the course there is an update. If not, that will be poor as the Course should always be up-to-date. It's a pity there don't appear to be later versions we can install. I already have two of the genuine Synology NAS devices at home. It the lecturer reads these comments, perhaps he could let us know about the security issues in using the pretty out-of-date DMS.
