I have gone through half the course and so far have been able to keep up rather easily and found the course instructor to be understandable but slow as he would go through everything very carefully which some might find helpful however, I find this to be too slow and hence would skip over the parts unless i needed to check the workings of a problem.
overall pretty good course so far but would highly recommend students to keep a notebook for notes and do problems before he explains to see if you really understood

I really hate to give this course a bad rating, because it is so close to being really good and it has pre-calc, intro to trig, and calc1 all rolled into one. The instructor has a great speaking voice, is clearly an experienced math tutor, and uses no gimmicks. They don't try to be cute, or nerdy, or have a theme, or tell you about their personal life. In that sense, the course if very concise and doesn't waste your time. It's just math and taught in a very good structure going through all the topics necessary.
No practice exercises. No updates. Quizzes are too short and impossible to fail. Algebra and Arithmetic used for examples is way too simple (and always the same easy examples) and will not prepare you for Calculus. Very few examples (and often bad examples that don't adequately show the concept). Instead of explaining things they often just repeat themselves (sometimes word for word, more than 2 times in a row. Sometimes the "extra" examples are also just 1:1 repetitions as well). When something is important instead of explaining, or giving more examples, or providing practice materials, or reinforcing it in later examples, they just say ~"this is important, you must memorize all this". And they habitually take 3 steps to show that x*1=x in the examples (time that could have been spent reinforcing more complex algebra and arithmetic instead). If you can't look at (4qwertz)/(2qwertz) and immediately see that it is equal to 2 then you need more algebra practice before you move on to calculus (practice that I had assumed would be included in a pre-calculus course). As soon as he got to stuff I didn't already know I started to feel lost and I am really tired of listening to him repeat himself.
I will try another Calc1 course. With enough practice exercises I should be able to figure it out on my own if I don't understand the lecture at first.

Theres some problems that male no sense i watched it over and over amd im lost some times he doesnt explain how he gets the answers for example on chapter 5 #10 before the quiz how does he get 25 -1 =24. (X=3 to x=5?) F(5)=x square-1=5 square-=25-1=24 ?/ f(3)= x square-1=3square-1=9-1=8 how did he het 25 and 9 that changed to 24 and 8 im lost. In 6 chapter #11. Its also confusing
