Novel Writing Workshop (Udemy.com)

I love Steve Alcorn's approach of using an informal conversational tone. He is easy to listen to, explains each topic very clearly, and tries to expand the student's skills with quizzes and a "Test Drive" at the end of the chapters for the student to use the skills from each lesson. His "Welcome back" greeting flows into the lesson, unlike another writing instructor who begins with "Hello!" in the voice of Julia Child, with a phony voice throughout the lessons. It is a pleasure to listen to each chapter in Steve Alcorn's course. I would most definitely purchase a course taught by him again. Steve's in-depth information is more complete than any other course or publishing school I have seen. I bought Steve's book `How to Fix Your Novel' as a reference. I am enthralled with how well Steve's tone was as he spoke during each lesson, and the quality and quantity of information he provided. Thank you so much!

Best course I've taken here in Udemy on writing. It's the most complete. The ideas are clear with examples. The structure and content flow smoothly and logically. It is unlike other courses where the expert just talks and share his knowledge as if over a cup of coffee. This one is well structured and is really a course and something you can go back to over and over if you need refresher.
