Covers a lot of important topics that are specific to fantasy and scifi. I hoped for more depth regarding the story structure, but it is informative and a good class nonetheless.

People say 'Don't judge a book by its cover.' But, I did. I thought that this course would be boring when I first saw the intro. But, Steve sir and Dani mam done a very good job in doing the course. If I had written something bad, forgive me. But, I had to say this. This course was so helpful for improving my skills. I will definitely recommend new writers with this course. This course was not only for these two genres. But, this course will be a start for all genres.

The video lectures contained good content and provided decent detail and opinions. However, I would have also liked to see more verbose material in the resources provided; some of the resource documents are simple lists that could use at least some explanation or synopsis from the respective lectures. Only some of the document resources are verbose enough to utilize without going back to the videos and taking notes. As a writing course, I suppose this is OK, just not expected as I partly purchased seeing that there were plenty of resources.

The instructors seem knowledgeable and are setting a good foundation for the course. I honestly would like to have them explore the history of the two genres a little longer, nothing the major trends and thematic elements or point to other sources where one can go do a deep dive into the histories of sci-fi and fantasy.
