The other Development Island course I took I enjoyed tremendously. \n\nThe Complete Modern Javascript Course with ES6(2019) has all the ingredients for a beginner. \n\nThe tasks / challenges are set at the right level for a beginner and move on to more challenging tasks which will cater for more competent javaScript coders.\n\nThere are good examples and many short do-able challenges. \n\nThe challenges / tasks do start off at a appropriate level but increase in complexity. The type writer app is a good example. It is complex but well worth completing.\n\nTake your time watching the videos and practice as much as you can with your own code as well.

I'm only about a quarter of the way through this course but more than happy to give it 5 stars. Baffling why this guy doesn't have more students - tons of material here, with good explanations and - crucially for me when it comes to coding courses - a nice sprinkling of challenge exercises to help you gauge whether you're really 'getting it' or not. If you want to learn Javascript we all know you have a ton of options but this course deserves to be on your shortlist in my opinion.

1. If a practice is ''Not Recommended'' and not used, do not explain it.\n\n2. \nThe main project ...on194 step explains how to clear input.value. \nOK , so it does not work . Also if you download solution attached right below on next step...it Does Not work either.......\n\nI am Now on 197 step. Scroll Active Word. I create the function , put measures and calculate offset difference. \n\nOk so when I start typing as to go forward on text content and verify that..active words stays on the middle...it does Not work because active word which is explains before, does not work...\n\nNOw I wonder...why you..instead of being here trying to argue with me...don\'t have a look and Just Fix it......Please.. \n\nIs that too much to ask?\n\nConcerning about my refund. I have Never asked for a refund here in Udemy so I do not know who/how I should proceed though yes...it is a waste of money and time from my point of view so please..respect my humble review.\nThere are very Good courses here, and there are courses which will embroll everything , this course...cannot recommended it....
