Course Description

"This is probably the most comprehensive course on game development. I love it. Thanks Mammoth and John :)"
"Step by step, easy to follow instructions. Enormous amount of material, all very enjoyable and applicable to games you may want to create."

Have you ever wanted to make your very own games? Well, you've come to the right place!

After purchasing this course, you'll be taken step-by-step through every process needed to do just that. Our two very talented instructors, Kevin Liao and Glauco Pires, explain everything from a basic, beginner level. That means, you don't have to have any prior coding or digital art experience to succeed here.
Glauco Pires will take you through the process of coding a game in Unity from scratch. You will make 2D, 3D and VR games.
Kevin Liao will teach you how to create all the artistic elements you will need to complete the game. Kevin will teach this section of the course in Blender; the wonderful, free 3D modeling program.
The final section will teach you how to integrate the art you created in Blender to the game in Unity!
"Past lessons i have taken on 3D software have had a problem with giving out too much info to fast, the slower pace at the start is rewriting bad finger memory to help transition to a new interface faster."
Included in this course is material for beginners to get comfortable with the interfaces. Please note that we reuse this material in similar courses because it is introductory material. You can find some material in this course in the following related courses:

Great Explanations, easy to follow and understand!

By Matt Arnold on 5 months ago

The content is very out of date at this point. Difficult to follow the videos that use old VR SDK. Would be nice if it was updated to use daydream and newer version of Unity.

By Martine Mannion on 5 months ago

Much more detail than I had expected.

S, HASTA AHORA HA SIDO UNA BUENA EXPERIENCIA. EL INSTRUCTOR EXPLICA MUY BIEN Y A UN BUEN RITMO APROPIADO PARA PRINCIPIANTES.

By Marshall Brown on 4 months ago

TOTALLY MISREPRESENTED, I EXPECTED TO LEARN ABOUT OCULUS VR AND VIVE, NOT STUPID GOOGLE CARDBOARD.THIS WAS MISLEADING ADVERTISING AT BEST AND I HATE IT. I FULLY EXPECT TO GET A REFUND!

By Napolean Peri on 6 months ago

This course does not work with latest versions of Unity as well as GoogleVR. Waste of time ... I spent a lot of time trying to figure out this working but in vein. This is supposed to be walk thought but not so ....

By Nlio Vieira on 10 months ago

The experience is not engaging and rapidly become boring. Every video starts from scratch repeating the same explanations over and over again besides there is no continuity between lessons.

By Colton Sachs on 4 months ago

This course does not explain why and what they are doing.

By David Hunsicker on 4 months ago

The presenter really needs to work on speaking skills "that's pretty much it"videos need to be edited down to cover just one topic...."that's pretty much it"blender videos should be slower and emphasize which keys are being struck and covering names of actions thoroughly.."that's pretty much it"and that's pretty much it.

Good course for a perfect beginner, but after a while all the exercises look the same. There is no use to do all of them.

By Rachael Brzys on 11 months ago

I haven't seen enough to fully assess.Sadly, the voice evokes negative associations.
