i like the format and instructor covers things in the order I think about them. very convenient.

There are some major problems with this course to be aware of: A) The instructor starts the course by saying to open an "Intro to Video Editing" file but that file wasn't on my machine and isn't in the course downloads. Maybe it is because he is using an older version of Premiere? B) Half of the media assets he says to download to follow along with the course are nowhere to be found. C) The instructor seems to have abandoned the course. He hasn't responded to any questions in over a year.

Despite these issues - he does a decent job of teaching video editing essentials. You can still learn how to use the software even though you can't follow along with everything he is doing.

David has an incredible voice and presence. To be honest, I am shocked! He looks relatively young (to me), but he presents well. He is obviously knowledgeable about the topic and is great at getting the information to you in an easy to understand tone and voice.

The content of this course is well chosen and gives a good overview of editing for Premiere Pro for beginners. However, the course material mentioned in the course is incomplete - there is a project file and footage missing which makes it impossible to follow along in Premiere. Questions regarding the missing course content by other students do not get answered either.
