My name is Kyle Schaub, and I'ma full-time software engineer in the cloud computing industrywith a Bachelor'sin Computer Science.

This was really good. I've had LMMS for a while, but I just played around with it not knowing what I was doing. This course really oriented me correctly and got me interested in taking LMMS more seriously. I've already created a couple songs on my own. It's easy! Of course, the songs need a lot of work structurally, but this course really explained how to use LMMS so that I can focus on the music and not on wrestling with the tools. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

I have had LMMS for years and barely had any appreciation of how to use it. I also had a MIDI Keyboard lying around and had no idea how to marry them up. I have since put it to use and am having fun putting to use the principles I have learned.

The problem is that parts of the course requires the use of Windows.
It was perfectly okay to introduce VeSTige, even though it is not available on Linux and Mac OSX. It is not okay to use VeSTige in the further course. Then the course should have a label from the beginning: "Only for WIndows".
