Great course. I have gone from a complete beginner (adult learner) to playing pretty well. Update: I just completed the course, and feel like I learned a tremendous amount! I can't wait to begin the intermediate course!

-James Kiker

So far this teacher is really great. He's humorous and just by the sound in the mouthpiece you can tell he is very skilled. I wish I would have had a teacher like this in school. He is very comfortable with the camera and with teaching. I really look forward to more"

-Steve Engelhorn

Starts by showing that it is easy to play, and that sometimes we overthink and tense up. Never played before, this is really easy to follow, apply and practice.

-Darrel Lancaster

Aussi j'ai acquis "Master the Tuba - Intermediate Instruction"
Merci notre instructeur pour la pdagogie utilise.

I wanted to learn tuba so I could be section leader next year. I think I'm doing decent for a previous bassoon and clarinet player. It's a pretty helpful course

By Mark McDonald on 3/27/2019

Professor Wass is a fantastic tubist. Simply one of the best. And a really great teacher.
I use many of these concepts and exercises with my students. He is spot on in teaching the fundamentals from the ground up, starting with breathing, buzzing, and getting to know the notes on your horn. Then the focus is on connecting these really lovely tones together to make songs happen. This is not unlike the Suzuki approach for the tuba.
In short, whether or not you think youre too advanced for this course, definitely check it out. It will make you a far better tuba instructor.

I like what I have seen so far

By Steve Roberts on 8/19/2018

I've seen other videos dealing with what your embouchure should look / feel like which would have been good to include; I'm also not at all clear on how to change pitch, which makes it hard to succeed with the siren exercise.
