Course Description

uring this course you will learn how to speak Nepali, the language spoken in Nepal as well as in the Indian states of Sikkim and West Bengal. Please note, in this course you won't learn to write and read Nepali, as the Devanagari scriptof Nepali won't be used. Instead, all Nepali words and sentences will be written in the Roman/Latin script, as how you would speak it. Nepali has some different sounds of English. But don't worry, native Nepali speakers will help you pronouncing the Nepali words and sentences. This course consists of 15 lessons spread over the 5 sections:

Sharing my gained skills, as well as obtaining new knowledge and experiences, is my passion.
In 2018 I achieved the Master of Education in Mathematics, specialised in differentiation of teaching methods and developing problem solving exercises, which I use for my brain training.
But even before the master, since 2013, I have been teaching online and at schools - in the Netherlands, Tanzania, and Nepal. As a result, I speak English, Dutch, and Nepali.
Mostly I am staying in rural Nepal, seeing a beautiful Nepali lifestyle whilst sharpening my language skills.

Reading and writing will not be a problem at all for a feller like me for whom, Hindi is the first language. I was actually more comfortable with the native speaker's pronunciation since Marko Sir's pronunciation is slightly different, I was trying to repeat after Marko Sir but couldn't keep up with it even though I was not pronouncing it wrong.
Gone through the second part of the first section. Thrilled to go through the rest!

The teaching is well paced and easy to understand (I am an Australian Indian and have no problems understanding Marco the instructor).
Having a Nepali speaker speak the key sentences and words is great. He uses different Nepali speakers so you can grasp the different accents.
This course is great for those wanting to grasp some spoken basics- it is very practical. But i would recommend re-watching and writing down notes as there is a lot of vocabulary to learn.

Very useful for learning how to speak Nepali. Ive put the learned words and sentences already into practice, and the locals can understand me perfectly thanks to the pronunciation practice with the native Nepali speakers. Strongly recommended.

Good pace and structure in the course. It's good to learn from Marco being a non-native, as he probably ran into the same difficulties I had. And having a native Nepali repeat all the words and sentences is really a nice addition.

Great for getting the grips on the basics of Nepali language before going on vacation :D
The host is a good teacher providing structured lessons in a collected and easy to learn format (pronouncing, glossary, theory, sentences). The course also features native speakers pronouncing key words and expressions :)
