Course Description

The mission of this course is to turn you into a productive, innovative data analyst who can leverage Go to build robust and valuable applications. To this end, the course clearly introduces the technical aspects of building predictive models in Go, but also helps you understand how machine learning workflows are applied in real-world scenarios. This course shows you how to be productive in machine learning while also producing applications that maintain a high level of integrity. It also gives you patterns to overcome challenges that are often encountered when trying to integrate machine learning in an engineering organization. You-'ll begin by gaining a solid understanding of how to gather, organize, and parse real-work data from a variety of sources. Then you-'ll develop a solid statistical toolkit that will allow you to quickly understand gain intuition about the content of a dataset. Finally, you-'ll gain hands-on experience of implementing essential machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, and so on) with the relevant Go packages. By the end, you-'ll have a solid machine learning mindset and a powerful Go toolkit of techniques, packages, and example implementations About the Author Daniel Whitenack (@dwhitena), PhD, is a trained data scientist working with Pachyderm (@pachydermIO). Daniel develops innovative, distributed data pipelines that include predictive models, data visualizations, statistical analyses, and more. He has spoken at conferences around the world (GopherCon, JuliaCon, PyCon, ODSC, Spark Summit, and more), teaches data science/engineering at Purdue University (@LifeAtPurdue), and, with Ardan Labs (@ardanlabs), maintains the Go kernel for Jupyter, and is actively helping to organize contributions to various open source data science projects.Who this course is for:
  • This course is for Go developers who are familiar with the Go syntax and can develop, build, and run basic Go programs. If you want to explore the field of machine learning and you love Go, then this course is for you!

Insightful and interesting

By Antony Ndungu

I nice way to get started with machine learning using my favorite programming language, golang.

By Job Stoit

hij is snel, waarin soms te snel maar geeft wel een goeie weergave van waar hij mee bezig is

Good

Der Kurs ist erstklassig!

Hmm.. I think this course is good. But also not good for intermediate because of Machine Learning knowledge. If you are beginner for either ML or Golang, this course is good.

By Bohdan Katrenko

author give a cool explanation of some great things, and this course is about machine learning in Go - and it's unique :) Very nice!

By Hariprasad

It's like a code walkthrough, It is for someone who already knows machine learning and doesn't know how to start things in golang.

He introduces various packages and explaining methods in it and how to use it. The rate of speech is very fast. If you don't know anything about machine learning, I am sure you will learn a lot about the packages in golang for machine learning. Video quality is very good
