"Useful and easy to follow. Great teacher. I'm self-taught on excel and have used for 17 years.... learning so much from this course that is already speeding up my work!"
- G Wilkinson

"This course is exactly as described: a beginner's tutorial on the most basic and fundamental aspects of Excel. I haven't used Excel in almost a decade and needed a refresher to see if I still remembered the most important aspects, and while I definitely do, I also learned a lot of new and interesting tips and techniques (like different ways to force a worksheet to print on a single page). The instructor was articulate, friendly, and concise. This was a perfect "Basics" course!"
- Vivian P.

"The pace of tutoring and interactivity made the information easy to understand."
- G Parker

Learning Excel is a bit like building a brick wall. Many beginners have a basic foundation - they understand the essentials of spreadsheets. Then they start piling on a few bricks here and there. But as their wall of knowledge is constructed, it's full of holes. Eventually they hit a point where their wall can't sustain any more weight and it collapses. What a waste of time!
This course takes a step-by-step approach to working with Excel. Each lesson builds upon the previous one, so your wall is solid. So whether you're looking to do your job better, or if you're looking to improve your resume, you are in the right place.
A comprehensive workbook with examples is included to save you time. You can also ask me any questions via the course discussion board. Who this course is for:
  • If you've never used Excel before or you want to get a comprehensive knowledge of the basics, this course is for you

Very detailed, kept it simple. Instructor appear to be knowledgeable; I've been using Excel for some time and I learned a couple of things and have a better understand.

Thank you very much Martyn, you are a great teacher, I have not been using excel 2013 for a very long time and I do not use it often. Your lesson was highly instructive! Many thanks again!
Elizabeth

I use Excel at work and would say I am above average but have picked up numerous tips from this course. I did not have a problem understanding him like some of the others. This is definitely worth watching and is in no way boring.

It was very nice experience to learn basics of excel and was explained in very simple way that any one can easily understood. i like the course and its presentation . it is realy useful for day to day office.work

I liked very much this course, was very efficient for me, as a beginner( I actually learned excel at school but was a long time ago and this cours was very good; it refreshed my memory :P ). I will continue to improve my exel. good luck to everyboby

I have taken other Excel courses and purchased how to books . This is by far the easiest time I've had with the material. Great job Martyn

thank you for this course I found it useful, it took things in small steps.
I found it best to have two interfaces open at the same time a laptop and a PC. I then tried to do the tasks at the end of each video. My only criticism would be the screen resolution on the videos but this is common elsewhere too. Looking forward to the course now that has 169 Microsoft instructional videos. Elisabeth P-D

Very good course to refresh my Excel usage. I even learned a couple new things. My only issue so is that the image is blurry (the other stuff on my screen is very clear), so it makes it difficult to see exactly what the items say that you're clicking on, or what you're writing in the cell, etc.

The pace of tutoring and interactivity made the information easy to understand.

Although much of the information was meant for the beginner, I did glean information about charts and formulas as well as brushing up on some excel features. Even if I don't get the job, thank you!

Yes the instructor is clear in his words and the delivery of details is provided in an efficient way.
