Microsoft MTA Operating System Fundamental 98-349: Test Prep (Udemy.com)

So let me start by saying that I took the MTA exam right after completing his course. Literally. I had it scheduled in advance. There was some stuff you had to know just by experience to answer a few questions and to be far that stuff is hard to materialize in a short course. Use this course as a crash course. If you've been in help desk and desktop support for over a year you can probably do as I did.
Anyone taking the MTA exam, read the questions carefully, trust what you know, and answer the question according to how Microsoft what's you to answer. I say that because real world experience can be very different. Good luck.

To preface this review, I had taken another MTA WIndows Operating System Fundamentals Prep Course on Udemy immediately before this one, so I have been subconsciously comparing the two as I navigated through this course. With that being said, here are my thoughts on this course...
Overall, I found this course to be a solid introduction to the material as covered by the exam objectives listed by Microsoft for the MTA exam. If you have no prior foundation in Windows Operating System Fundamentals, this is a good place to start. I am glad that I took both this course and the other course (another popular MTA Windows OS Fundamentals course on Udemy), since there were points covered in this course that were skimmed over or missed in the other course, and vice-versa. I rated this course half a star lower than the other course because I felt that the other course did a slightly more in-depth analysis of the topics covered for the MTA exam. However, the presenter in this course was definitely more engaging and explained things in a way that was easier to pick up on. I especially valued the quizzes that were provided at the end of each lesson, along with the practice final exam (which the other course did not have at all!), thank you for including this in your course!
Some things that could be improved/added for this course:
-Analysis of VMWare/VirtualBox as it relates to Windows OS. The other course really focused heavily on this as part of the instruction, I'm not sure how much this will be tested on the actual MTA exam (I haven't yet taken the MTA exam at the time of this review).
-Some information may be missing for certain topics that you have discussed in your lessons. There might be more than one example, but the specific example that comes to mind for me is from one of the earlier lessons when you were discussing the operational requirements for installing Windows 10. If I recall correctly, you had listed both the 32-bit and 64-bit systems as requiring 16GB of storage space, yet the previous course I took cited 16GB for the 32-bit and 20GB for the 64-bit OS. Clearly, one of these is wrong.
-Spelling and grammatical errors in several slides that I noticed. This wasn't a big deal for me, since I understood all of the points that you were making in these slides. However, some people can be easily distracted and possibly deterred by such mistakes. Might be worth reviewing the slides and correcting.
As a final comment, there are not many resources that I have come across to prepare for the MTA Windows OS Fundamentals exam. I sincerely thank you very much for making this course available to people like myself who are preparing to take the certification exam. I hope to work with you one day as a fellow IT professional :)

Good stuff for the beginner.

The course is more an introduction than a preparation itself, the level is really low, there is more description of the windows elements than real explanations, and time to time, not too frequently also, there is questions asked in the quiz which we weren't presented during the course, so yes I'm disappointed by this course, which I don't recommend to every people who're using Windows systems on daily basis, but more for people who never had their hands on it or if they don't use it since a while as Mac power users which go on Windows computers or Linux engineers which need to become more familiar for an interview as Windows engineer.
