AWS Automation with boto3 of Python and Lambda Functions (Udemy.com)

Course is very basic, was expecting a little advanced level with better and different example and resources eachtime (like dealing with asg, LC, ssm and other widely used resources). More on the error handling should have been added and used in each of the example to give the idea on how real world scripting should be done.

Very much repetitive approach to teaching which becomes irksome after a few lessons. Clear and concise delivery of information which means that it if should be easily understood by people of all levels of experience which makes it slightly better than average in my opinion.

First, I have minimal python experience, but I am comfortable with bash and powershell scripting. This course explains the basics enough without going too slow or too basic. It has been instrumental in me quickly coming up to speed on Boto3 and Lambda as they reside within AWS. I've been able to take what I've learned and have functioning boto3 scripts to automate queries against IAM instead of fumbling through the official documentation, which I didn't fully understand until it was explained in the course.. Highly recommend this course.

I just give 4 out of 5 because I think you explain lots of basic Python (like dictionaries, methods and attributes) and how to work with and repeat them many times although it is not mentioned in the course description you are going to teach them as well. If there were more stuff about triggering S3, EMR, and ..., I would have given 5 out of 5 to this course.

Good course for understanding the basic concepts of aws automation using boto3.

This course is nice and suggesting more services to be included like Load balancer, Autoscaling, VPC, Cloudfront, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS and other major services.
