Yesterday, August 11, 2026, I passed the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (DOP-C02) exam with a score of 760/1000, and Professor Stéphane Maarek’s course played a major role in helping me prepare for it. It took me roughly six weeks to complete the course and prepare for the exam. As I progressed through each domain, I created extensive Quizlet flashcards based on the material, studied and continuously refined those flashcards, completed practice exams, and spent additional time reviewing the AWS services and concepts I struggled with most. One of the things I appreciated most about Professor Maarek’s course was the sheer amount of material it covered. The DevOps Engineer – Professional exam requires you to understand a wide range of AWS services and, more importantly, how those services work together in real-world scenarios involving CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring and logging, resiliency, incident response, automation, security, and compliance. This course gave me a strong foundation across all of those areas and provided the structure I needed to prepare effectively. For additional context, I was first exposed to AWS more than five years ago. I earned my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in November 2023 and my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification on June 16, 2026. That previous AWS experience definitely helped, so it may take you more or less time to complete the course and prepare for the exam depending on your background. I would also strongly recommend actively studying the material rather than simply watching the lectures. Take notes, create flashcards, revisit weaker topics, and make sure you understand why AWS recommends certain services or architectures for particular scenarios. The DOP-C02 exam tests your ability to apply AWS knowledge, not just memorize facts. With that being said, it’s only right that I give this course 5/5 stars. Professor Maarek once again provided a comprehensive and well-structured resource that helped me successfully prepare for an AWS certification exam. If you’re serious about earning the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification, I highly recommend this course. My first contact with AWS was back in 2019. Since then, I've improved both my English and my AWS skills, and Stéphane's courses have been a huge part of that journey. Thanks to his training, I earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Associate certifications. Now I'm focusing on the AWS DevOps Engineer Professional. I had actually purchased this course back in 2019, and it was a pleasant surprise to come back and see how well it has been updated. I had almost forgotten how immersive Stéphane's teaching style is. He combines solid theoretical explanations with hands-on labs that make the concepts really stick. Every topic is followed by practical exercises, which is exactly how I learn best. I've also used the AWS Skill Builder platform, and while it's a useful resource, I honestly find Stéphane's course to be on another level. For me, it's easily 10 times more engaging and effective. Thank you, Stéphane, for creating such high-quality content and for continuously keeping it up to date. I highly recommend this course to anyone preparing for AWS certifications or looking to deepen their practical AWS knowledge.

Just passed the exam. I now have all 13 AWS certifications (including the deprecated ML Specialty), and relied on Stephane's Udemy course for every single one of them. Never failed!

The instructor really has deep knowledge about Databricks and the course touches all the fundamental topics in depth, each topic with concrete project to get your hands dirty

It's been great but I would like a video at the beginning explaining a bit of each topic that will be covered in the course so I can know like the "mental map" of topics if that makes any sense. Overall a great experience from a very warm teacher :)

Excellent course. I passed the exam yesterday, and all the material was really helpful. I gave it 4.5 stars because I think some lessons could be updated, and perhaps some more technical details could be added.

Very good and complete content. The explanation is simple and well structured. 4 starts because some content has outdated content and notes are placed as patches instead of updating the video itself.

Incorporating real-time questions after each lecture would help reinforce and validate core concepts. In addition, conducting an MCQ-based assessment at the end of each module would help learners evaluate their understanding and gain confidence after completing the lectures.

Second time I am going through this, prepping for my renewals and i will still give it a 5 star. The fact that you take time to update the content is highly commendable
