Rocking AWS Serverless - A Real World Guide (Udemy.com)

Comprehensive coverage of serverless services in AWS with clear, in-depth explanations. The use of Python throughout is a big plus. There are dedicated sections on Infrastructure as Code, which is great to see, but most of the course is still done via the AWS console. If I could change one thing, it would be to focus more on a few larger, end-to-end projects rather than many smaller examples. Overall, an excellent course—easily the best I’ve found on serverless in AWS. Thank you!

I am only at the beginning of the course. So far I like the explanations of this teacher as well as his sense of humor. It's true that some of the demos are on an older version of the console, but you can still follow what he is doing even with the current version. This review is coming from someone who is using AWS daily at work, but learned everything organically. I am using this course to fill in the gaps and it is helping for putting everything in place. We use terraform and CI/CD pipelines to do everything and only use the console for verification, debugging and monitoring, but it is still very helpful to see how this is set up in the console so that it can be transported to one's Infrastructure-as-Code projects.

Have to admit this is a gold mine of knowledge when it comes to using the cloud. It's a difficult subject however Raj does an amazing job breaking it down and explaining it thoroughly. Not only that he responds to questions. I will say the only downside that I have is that some of the content is outdated so you do have to do some digging on your own. However, I did put some tips in the Q&A tab so hopefully that helps some of you. Anyway, Thank you Raj for the amazing course I full a lot more confident in my cloud skills!

The course has many useful examples and the tips from the instructor are really good. I didn't rate with 5 stars because in some excersices (the most) the interface and layout showed during the course of Amazon platform and the current version are very different and makes more difficult to follow the videos. Also in some videos the instructor mentioned that he was to put the examples and links in the resources but they aren't there.

I have finished this great course taught @rajdeep-saha-4ba24744 Mostly is about AWS Serverless but goes in deep into many many-core AWS services and interesting topics like DevOps. This course is a great journey to know AWS services and dirty your hands with a lot of labs in the console and Cloud9 too. @rajdeep-saha-4ba24744 your analogies to teach theory and concepts related to services and use cases are entertaining and very clear.

Great course! This course is a hidden gem among the many courses out there. Rajdeep is enthusiastic and brings a lot of positive energy as he teaches. He makes these subjects quite approachable, and it is invaluable to learn from someone who is actively working in the field and using this stuff daily compared to someone who presents the material in a purely academic way. I originally bought this course as a sort of "oh by the way, I'm doing serverless stuff at work and this looks like it could be useful in the future." However, I have consulted the lessons in this course numerous times now for work at two different jobs, in two different roles (data scientist and data engineer) and it has been more useful to me than I ever thought it would be. I love the advanced concepts that he teaches along the way. There are times where I wish he would at least touch on items as we configure services, but that we skip for one reason or another, even a brief mention would add a lot of value. I always like to know the "why." He seems to always be updating this course and keeping it current – he recently added a 3-hour DevOps section, and this is exactly the sort of thing I am starting to tackle in my current role. My favorite section is Section 15: Serverless Architectures & Advanced Optimization Techniques where he discusses advanced concepts. I hope that he makes more advanced courses in the future. This is a great place to start your cloud journey or to learn advanced concepts.

Anyways, I am compelled to leave a review to this course because I learned so much from this course. I got a new job and they are building serverless architecture on payment processing. I was very nervous about this new job but I am at ease now after taking this course. Thank you Raj bhai. Looking for Aurora serverless chapter.

This is the best course in Serverless. It covers most topics in the field and goes into the proper depth on each one of them. The instructor is very good at explaining the concepts. Initially, I was not very happy to see that python was used to code the lambda functions, but by following the course I understood that the programming language used did not play a big role, as the focus is on the concepts. Thanks a lot for providing us this course, I would definitely recommend it. Keep on going!

The course is very extended and goes beyond serverless basics, diving into issues such as Cognito authorization (both using user and identity pools) DynamoDB walkthrough etc; Everything comes with hands-on demos so it makes it easier for the learner to grasp the concepts instructed; And of course it starts from scratch, assuming no prior knowledge of the serverless ecosystem; Two suggestions for improvement: - there could be some more sections on either SAM or the Serverless framework (cause given that serverless is a new paradigm, automating stuff and setting up CI/CD is a real challenge) - the sound quality is not so good (although acceptable) Overall the course is highly recommended.

I am new to cloud and wanted to learn AWS serverless so that I can use it to do some personal projects instead of using traditional EC2. I really liked how the instructor used real world analogies to explain the concepts. The lectures are very hands on which is really helpful. The instructor seems to have actual industry experience migrating apps to serverless, so the tips he gave were pretty much to the point. Also the Sentiment Analysis Project is fun! Highly recommend this course to fellow Cloudians.
