DevOps for Beginners - Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS (Udemy.com)

The courses and the contents are great, coming out of this my understanding of devops has at least quadrupled. I know more about the CI/CD, IaC, Devops services and Kubernetes. 1. This course is mainly touching the main concepts and surface level of everything (kubernetes, ansible, terraform, argocd). I do believe that these core concepts and surface level knowledge is enough for students to start exploring deeper on their own, but it would be great if it was clarified in the course description. 2. The instructor explain things clearly, my only complain is that the video's sound is inconsistent, sometimes it is loud and sometimes it is quieter, this is a minor annoyance but still a point to improve 3. In some section, it feels very overwhelming when jumping from the theory to the hands on section, as there are some concepts that weren't previously explained suddenly being introduced which will cause confusion to newer students. This is most noticable in the kubernetes section, where the initial architecture explanation doesn't explain about the definitions of "service and namespace" and during the hands on project, the component of the architecture explained earlier was not shown to the students which is a huge issues in my opinion. I was confused and had to do my own research to find each component myself. For example i am struggling to fix the issue with lb-service in argocd as it is stuck at processing, if it had been explained during the hands on, i would've been able to debug it faster.

The course is an excellent content. What separates Raj is his immense experience in the Technology field which cannot be replaced by anything. He shares his real world experience and the ways to solve them. Great work on it and looking forward to it with renewed energy.

Wonderful course !! Very informative but simple. Thanks Raj for creating this. Improvements: Deck slides are not arranged in order later. May be good to include some prod scenarios, like Master-Slave Automation, Jenkins Upgrade/Node rotation, Setting up HTTPS, Security of Jenkins etc..

By far the best teacher I’ve learned from in Udemy. I’ve bought almost all his courses and they all have been amazing. He responds to questions and keeps the course updated which is great. Also he explains complex topics in a beginner friendly matter. Would definitely recommend this course to any beginners.

Raj provides training that matches with Real Time Experiences. So it becomes easier to understand the concepts and prepare for the Interview. Other trainers also teach well, but Real Time examples matter a lot that only Raj can provide. Honest Review: Took this course to learn that I have to buy other courses to get "more in-depth" learning. Very basic linux commands, dockers, terraform and CF overview and more. Lastly, the answers to interview questions in the end not discussed as expected. No real-world examples and discision making guide. Instructor has to realize that people who already have real-world experience would not take this course. Lots of potential, hope this can be improved in the future.

Every topic is illustrated in a clear manner. Definitely worth a five-star. It would be super if the author could introduce essential coding labs into your course in the future, as this caters to the real needs and will boost the popularity or branding tremendously.
