A very detail course , with a clear learning plan and structure , explain everything as simple as possible going into deep details of terraform. IMO , for sure one of the best Terraform courses which covers also architecture best practises apsects of terrafrom with Azure.

Solid course, after getting into about the 4th section, he stops explaining the code. He just starts pasting in large blocks of code, saying what they do, and applying them. Sometimes not even showing the full line of code for you to copy on your side. His videos are already some of the longest you will find, yet lack a lot of the explanation it needs to make sense of what he is doing

Your teaching style and pacing made the learning process enjoyable, and I now feel well-prepared to start working with Terraform in an Azure environment. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise. I look forward to exploring more advanced topics in the future.

I like your presentation and the fact that you show the azure console along with the terraform script. I'm surprised that at video 34 you are still showing the usage of depends_on instead of the reference of implicit dependency via the resource.resourcename which you use for example the subnet id. There you specify the fully qualified name. So why not for example azurerm_resource_group.appgrg.name which tells Terraform that there is a dependency. Same as in bicep.

I learned a lot from this course. It was the perfect beginner course for me since I did not have any terraform experience before. I like that Alan demonstrated the deployments in the Azure portal first before doing them in terraform. It made logical sense to see all of required settings in the portal that had to be configured before trying to duplicate them in terraform. I thought he was very knowledgeable and explained each concept clearly and completely. He spoke in clear English that was easy to understand. I also liked having the assignments throughout the course to check my understanding. I also very much appreciated the config files downloads in each section. I will refer back to them when I write my own code. I wish I had of found this course sooner before trying other courses first. I look forward to learning more from his other courses. Over all, this was a professional, well made, extremely useful terraform course. It was exactly what I needed as a complete beginner to start working with terraform in Azure. Thank you Alan!!!

5 sections in and Alan is proving himself to be an extremely knowledgeable tutor, while doing a great job of explaining in layman's terms. You also learn technically proficient approaches to specific requirements, that I'm sure would otherwise be a challenge researching solo, e.g. sourcing a blob in Terraform to install IIS using powershell.

This is the best cloud instructor I have seen, I vow to buy all his cloud courses. Do you also have course in operating system? if yes, I would like to buy. you are my favorite. I was so afraid of Terraform, thinking it's was so difficult but you have made me understood how easy it's. you deserve nothing more than five stars.
