The exam is nowhere near the course. It was extremely tough. i thought i could wing it after taking the course and practice papers but boy, i got humbled. I definitely need more practice papers and much more application of concepts. The teaching of concepts was really good ngl but the exam is just miles tougher and needed more indepth understanding and application of concepts. Giving second attempt soon. Hope i can get it this time.

Although I'm not the type who usually gives reviews, I must do so this time around. I need to appreciate the level of competency of the author and the extent to which he goes to break down technical concepts in such a way that even a beginner can easily understand. I have only watched 50% of the tutorial, and I can say for the first time that I was able to grasp about 80% of the topics on a first watch. ......Incredible

The trainer's staccato speaking style can be somewhat distracting, making it harder to follow along smoothly. Additionally, many lessons could be more concise and effective by minimizing the extended setup explanations. A brief overview of the environment, followed by a direct focus on the core subject, would greatly improve the learning experience.

Alan is so good at explaining difficult concepts. For example, the concept of containers was difficult for me and he made it so simple. The course goes into not just the Azure security concepts, but also he manages to put attention to typical question topics asked by the exam. Of course the video is 2022, so it needs addition items such as Microsoft Defender External Attack Surface Management, put the topics presented here are 95% relevant still.

I passed my AZ-500 cert!! Thanks to Alan for neatly organizing this course. Preparation: 1. Watched these videos twice. 2. Created handwritten notes while watching videos 3. Tried to navigate to the services that are covered here (Not created because you have to pay for it) to familiarise with portal and services. 4. Used 2 practice tests that are added in this course. Additionally, had voucher for MeasureUp practice test so I used that too. 5. In the end watched John's AZ-500 study cram video to summarize all topics on the day of test.

Many thanks for this great course! It helped me a lot for my preparation of this exam. I know it was a lot of work to create this course, but I have some improvements, where you can add them or not. # RBAC (Role-based access control) Deeper explanation of the .json-File content. The different types of actions. The different types of resource provider. ## Source https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/custom-roles # Azure blueprints Azure blueprints isn't a part of this exam. # Policy Deeper explanation of the .json-File content. There was some exam questions about Policy rules ## Source https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/policy/concepts/definition-structure https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/policy/concepts/definition-structure#policy-rule # Azure SQL - Storing audits There was some exam question about storing audits in storage accounts. What happening if you store the SAL audits / Database audits in storage accounts and when you have multiple storage accounts. ## Source https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/auditing-overview?view=azuresql # Azure AD tenant There was a exam practice how you can create a new Azure AD tenant. # Azure AD Entra A new administration area. Please update that. ## Source https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/

I passed AZ-500 with flying color just using this course mainly as my learning material. At the time of writing, no other course worth buying, even Nick Colyer's course, which is basically abandoned and too basic. His two practice tests are surprisingly effective and DO REVEAL your knowledge holes. Perfect! It's even more effective if you combine this course with the AZ-500 official book from Microsoft. Highly recommended from me!

A Heartfull of Thanks to Mr. Alan, you are awesome in teaching the Tech stuff. With your courses, I have Aced both AZ-500 and AZ-104 in a one-shot attempt. All the concepts were explained in a very well manner and I would suggest all the folks to go for the couse without having a second thought. Once again Thank you a LOttttt..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Alan, I passed my AZ500 course this weekend. This was very helpful in building out my personal Azure tenant to get hands on practice for aspects of Azure I don't use as part of my current job. I have told everyone on my team to buy this course, its such a bargain for what you get out of it!

The course was fine and the tutor has put in a lot of efforts. Pros: The course is updated as per the changes/updations in the course structure by Microsoft. Cons: I felt that it would have been better if the tutor could have focussed more on the concepts instead of just labs while teaching. After taking this course, I am still confused and not very much clear on few of the concepts.
