The course is okay okay. Instructor doesn't answer in QA which is a big NO for me. I paid for the course so I expect the instructor to clear my doubt else I could have learnt same topics for free from youtube. Additionally, the instructor’s accent is difficult to understand, and the auto-generated captions often misinterpret words, making it harder to follow the lessons.

Its an excellent course if you wish to learn data engineering and practice the lab exercises along with. However, I feel it may be lacking in theory and quizzes alongside the various sections. I strongly recommend this course to everyone who wish to purse dp-203 exam as these exams require lot of practice and practical experience where this course will help you immensely.

Excellent course so far. Nice easy to complex labs to get overall hands on and understanding of each section. Recently updated so Kudos to the created for doing this. Presentation style is very good. easy to understand. I normally view at 1.75x speed first and do the labs later. This is a learn by doing type of course and this is the best way to learn cloud. I yet to take the practice tests or exam. Will update the review later. Highly recommend this course

Helps to get started with the exam preparation. Practical step by step walkthroughs covering partially the scope of the exam. Missing in depth industry relevant know-how but remains a good descriptive complement to the Microsoft documentation.

The courser help in Azure form Data engineering aspects with helpful hands-on labs. I was wondering how the instructor cover bring this into 23.5 course, he has done a great work behind to help us. It took around 8 full days for me to complete this 23.5 hours course covering all hands-on:) I was really happy at the end spending this valuable time.

This was a perfect course to teach someone who is new to Azure how the various things work. I especially like the way the author combines multiple services for lab which gives a real world feel to it. This alone is not sufficient to clear the exam but lays a solid foundation to understand the concepts. I cleared my exam today an would credit this course for understanding the concepts that were asked in exam.

Did the job! This course was enough for me to pass with a wide margin in April 2022, although I must add that I already had good knowledge of SQL, data design (including data warehouses), Spark, Scala, Python and Git. But I was totally new to Azure, streaming and Databricks. I didn't need to read any of Microsoft's learning path materials, which, as the instructor points out in the intro, are a bit of a mess and repetitive, and also, at least for me, much more intimidating time wise than going through this course. I "went ahead" and now have my certificate "in place" (inside joke you will get if you do this course).

Alan has covered the course very well explaining topics even someone completely new on concepts can pickup. He kept informed of when to get rid of resources to avoid unnecessary charges. For someone yet to signup for Azure, my recommendation would be to signup when ready for Data Engineering since cost for using Synapse Analytics flies super fast. Thank you Alan.

I've taken Azure BigData courses from other platforms as well as in-class training and I can say that this course, overall, is a very good investment of time from learning perspective. The course is very hands on and Alan has done his home work very well. Couple of things I may suggest i.e. if the instructor may add a bit more from conceptual point of view i.e. Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse etc., a section about Cosmos DB and add python based lectures in DataBricks section. Job well done Alan and Thank You!!

Great course, definitely helped me pass the exam (877, I know, Alan I swear I'm not just repeating the score you posted, ha ha). The practice questions are really good, but always review answers so that you can see explanations of the answers and follow some links to get more clarity. Pay particular attention to the order of steps, like for partition switching, or creating a release pipeline, I had over 6 questions like that. I also had a case study with 4 questions that felt longer than the ones given here, so the case studies given here are a good depiction of what you will see in the exam. I got 66 questions overall). Great content, well delivered course.
