Stephane, you helped me to pass the certification first try! You covered all of the main services that I needed to know. I couldn't have done it without your help!

I was hesitant between taking this course or acloudguru trainings (free for me, because of my job). I've started this course from the ECS chapter, and I found that the sequence of the topics was more logical and easy to follow, than acloudguru's training. Stephane's courses aren't designed to help you pass the exam only, but to help you to really understand the concepts. So, there are no boring lessons full of "Exam Tips" slides, that you'll likely forget before taking the exam, but the exam tips are explained along with the theory and the labs, so my recommendation is to do all the hands on lessons, which are very entertaining.
After finishing this course I've passed the exam with 947 score, so it's worthy taking this training. Thank you so much Stephane for your dedication in this training!

TL;DR I do think this course is great if you want to pass the certification but if you want to actually learn AWS, you will need to spend a lot of extra time as this course does not really give you any practice.
I was very hesitant in regards to the rating. In some ways this course deserves maximum rating and in some - less than average. It all really depends on what you expect from the course.
If you have solid fundamentals of AWS, know your head around and have done some projects with it and just want to get certified this is a great course. It gives you overview of most of the stuff needed for the exam.
But it does just that.
If you expect to learn AWS from this course I am sorry - you will not. You will get a thorough overview of what is where but it will be still not enough to make projects in it (maybe the simplest ones like create EC2 instance and host a static web directly on it). The hands ons are more about "clicking" through all the settings, sometimes very rushed way just to see what is there. Without larger context, without task in mind etc. Again - if you want to pass the exam and that is all - this will probably be enough but I hoped to be "task-ready" after this course.
Also if you do not have VERY strong will to finish this course it will be very hard to go through it. As you do not build anything, do not have any exercises etc. it is very hard to stay engaged. At the beginning I was doing all hands ons but seeing they do not lead to anything at the end I started to just watch them. In order to get through the course I had to watch it on 1.75x speed, often making breaks for my own research.

In the online world, I am a difficult person to please. I rarely take the effort to give ratings and write reviews. But this was such a phenomenal experience that I can't help but appreciate Stephane for putting together this awesome, well-structured, in-depth course.
After completing the video lectures, I gave the practice test that comes along with the course and got a score of 72%, which is borderline-pass. Without going through the answer key, I re-attempted after reading through the slides and AWS documentation. I scored a not-so-impressive 78%. I was quite nervous now, but I went for the actual exam, and to my surprise scored 987/1000! All thanks to this amazing course.
If anyone is feeling less confident after Stephane's practice test, do not fret. Read through the explanations and links in the answer key and go for the certification exam. Stephane's questions are tricky on purpose, to make you read more and cover all aspects. Questions set by AWS is pretty straight forward.
