Build Web Apps with Vue JS 2 & Firebase (Udemy.com)

The course started off a bit basic for me but soon gained pace and I enjoyed the firebase projects.

One thing to note is the course has become a bit out of date and you may benefit from watching the bonus videos before creating the projects.

If you follow the instructions from the time travelling NInja which have been inserted at places where the old code versions will cause problems it all still works.

There is also a firebase config problem for which I have added code which works in the Q & A for that video.

First of all i love the instructor, since i follow his youtube channel and i liked his "to the point" style of teaching which is why i bought both of his courses. Do checkout his course on Javascript. Also he is always active and a person is dedicated to answer your questions if you have any, so definitely go ahead i can't stress enough, the only drawback i see is that VueX was not added in this course even though it is a Vuejs centric course so i ask Shaun to please include VueX and maybe a project with it.

A very good introduction to the framework and covers all the basics needed to start developing Vue apps.

Very well delivered, I've learned enough to go ahead an build the web application I was planning.

A really good teacher, good pace, good stuff covered. The only thing is that the code is a little bit lagging in current Vue setup. The folder structure and files created by newer version of vue cli are not aligned with the videos here. Would be great if the teacher could update or atleast create a video informing about how to go about when things like index.js no longer exists and router.js is used instead and so on. Besides the not so up-to-date everything else is great!

Shaun really does have a gift and clearly a passion for teaching which I find infectious. He cuts through confusing jargon and takes the time to break down each concept in simple terms. I'm going to check out his Modern Javascript class at some point as well. Kudos Shaun!

Shaun is very concise yet covers the essentials of building web applications with vuejs and firebase. What I particularly enjoy is the way he broke the course into steps that are just right to remain enjoyable and want to continue progressing. He gives all the necessary information so that we can understand the key concepts and leaves other important information until later, when truly necessary. A very nice balance. It feels like I'm learning to cook but with code ingredients in order to create digital smoothies!

This is perhaps the best course that I have on Udemy so far. Shaun is a gifted instructor. The way he structures his lessons is incredible. I have learnt so much of Vue.js and Firebase out of this course and cannot wait to apply those skills in the real world.

Shaun is, hands down, my favourite teacher about Web Development. His tutorials are always on point, they will not overload his students with too much informations or with useless repetitions. At 10$ it was a steal! Thanks Shaun!

I really enjoyed this course. The projects were fun, and I learned a lot. It doesn't cover Vuex, but it does give a very good introduction to Vue and the Vue Router.

It is equally focused on firebase and Vue. whereas it can have some more things e.g. standard project setup, pagination, data flow, api uses, vuex. But overall its good to have course in your basket.
