Course Description

Vue JS 2 has quickly become incredibly popular, both due to how powerful the JavaScript framework is, but also how easy it is to learn. Vue is much easier to learn than other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React, meaning that you can start building your first Vue application in no time!

In this course, you will learn how to build reactive web applications at any scale with Vue. You will learn the theory that you need to know about Vue.js, and we will be building several example applications as we go along, demonstrating the explained concepts in practice. The course lectures include examples when going through new material, followed by exercises that you can optionally choose to solve - and we walk through the solutions together.
Whether or not you have prior experience with VueJS, this course is an easy way for you to learn the framework! Perhaps you have struggled with large and complex frameworks such as Angular? Don't worry, Vue.js is much easier to learn! Getting up and running fast is at the heart of Vue, so no more long hours of configuration just to show "Hello World!" Or perhaps you have no experience with reactive JavaScript frameworks and come straight from using jQuery? No problem! Vue.js is an excellent choice for your first framework, and is one of the easiest one to start out with.
Despite the fact that Vue JS is easy to learn, it is an incredibly powerful framework that can be used to build large web applications as well as small ones. Unlike many other frameworks, Vue.js does not try to take control of your application, and allows you to let the framework control only parts of your application - something that is perfect for migrating legacy applications to a more modern framework without doing a complete rewrite at once! Apart from learning how to build single page applications (SPAs), you will also learn how to manage state in large applications with Vuex.
This course starts from scratch with teaching you how to build a "Hello World!" application in Vue.js and moves towards building advanced applications step by step. By the end of this course, you will be able to build complex and large web applications with Vue.Who this course is for:
  • Developers who have little or no prior experience with Vue.js
  • Developers who want to learn a modern and simple JavaScript framework
  • Developers who want to learn how to build reactive web applications

At first I thought the pace was really slow, then I realised that this course is indeed intended for the very beginners. I have finished the first passage of this course and I can now say that this is quite a great resource. This course takes you by hand and guides through the journey of learning Vue Js. Bo Andersen has done quite a good job explaining the ins and outs of Vue Js, giving practical advices on how to structure your code, and which best practices to levarage. Thanks Mr. Andersen.

This is an amazing course, that I highly recommend. The author is very knowledgeable and will take the time needed to explain everything that is required.

That being said I would have appreciated it if there was a small lecture or section on how to make the vuejs website seo friendly.

Great course. Covers thoroughly all the important topics and the examples are really very well designed and help you to gain an in depth insight.

In general, this is a good course to understand Vue. At the beginning, it is sometimes a bit hard, to follow the examples, especially the first one because most of the markup of the example is already prepared.

But in the end especially the parts with Vue Router and Vuex were very detailed and I think easy to follow, because most of the examples were build from ground up without too much code already existing.

Very thorough and complete taking a beginner all the way to very expert coding. Covers advanced features of Vue such as VueX which is very important to know.

Pretty good to go from just hearing about vue to actually understanding how to get started building an app. It takes a bit to get to more useful things like SPA and handling back-end calls but it's for a good reason.

This is the most advanced Vue course on Udemy. The author is most clearly an expert on the subject matter. Many Udemy authors who produce content in Laravel, Vue, or PHP are of moderate to high intermediate skill; few are truly experts.

Bo is an expert on the subject of Vue and Vuex. His teaching style is also excellent, being project-based as opposed to topic-based. While he teaches topics, he integrates nearly all conceptual components into basic application examples. Whereas sometimes even advanced course authors simply create visual representations of what can be read in the written documentation for the framework at hand, Bo does a great job of explaining the why in addition to the how.

I hope that Bo produces more content; he is an excellent instructor. 10 stars.

I own every course on Udemy that remotely touches Vue, Vuex, or Laravel. 230+ in my archive on Udemy.

Not a beginner's course but an excellent one nonetheless. Highly recommended.

In the early lectures, you made it clear when it was time to do a challenge hands-on, and they were good challenges. But later, it was not clear when to type or when to just watch. I feel like I was just watching a bit too much because of this. But, you were very good at explaining things to an intermediate programmer and I can always review a section when I am stuck on a concept in my app (probably related to vuex). Well done!

Excellent course and trainer so far. Took me some time to be comfortable with vue set-ip with vue-cli, npm and handling external CSS. After this the course is great and has proper pace and exetnsive depth on Vue

Pace is good for the course. I am looking forward with more exercise and examples.

Great course! Recommended big time! The instructor answers to questions very quickly. For a section there was no code, and he included in the github after I asked for it. Very helpful. Besides that, course is good, and time is very well spent. Learned a lot about Vue to start my first big application.
