This is a beginner JavaScript course from Ivan Lourenço Gomes that bundles jQuery, Ajax and a short Vue 3 introduction into about 17 hours and 98 lectures. The syllabus shows most of the time goes to plain JavaScript, from first steps and basics through to an advanced section, with two projects along the way: a WeDesign website and a t-shirt price calculator built with jQuery. An Ajax section ends with a quiz game that pulls questions from an API. It suits people who have touched HTML and CSS and want a gentle, exercise-driven route into scripting, not developers looking for depth.

Reviewers keep using the same words: clear, intuitive, step by step. One reviewer says the exercise lists let him see his own progress, and as a junior back-end developer he adds that the course finally made the JavaScript side of his job feel manageable. The rating breakdown backs that up, with roughly 89 percent of the 2,716 reviews at four or five stars. The complaints are mild but real. A three-star reviewer calls it another ultra basic JS course you could find on YouTube, and a four-star review found the last section redundant and would rather the time had gone into building the game.

First time I'm actually taking time to write a review because I really liked the course. The explanations and the thought process during the class is pretty nice in my opinion. The exercise's list are really cool and you can see the progression of your knowledge if you make them. I am already working with Django and python as a junior back-end developer and always had trouble with the JS part of my tasks, but I'm feeling really confident now I can at least start solving some problems that before I needed help. Concise and gets you up to speed on basics with some intermediate techniques here and there. Best Part : Exercises with html css and js files that have notes. Project introduces some new techniques and consolidates what was learnt. Improvement: Spelling mistakes in text.
