Justin Gilson is an I.T. Wiz. Justin has over 15 years of experience in Computer Repair, Networking, Network Security, Infrastructure Design, Automated Deployment, Graphic Design and recently Web Design.
Justin grew up in a military family. Before the end of his fathers long career in the Air Force, his family had moved 16 times in 18 years, leaving little time to make friends or commit to anything for longer than a year. Because of moving and settling in so many different places, Justin spent a lot of time on his fathers computer, a Commodore-64. For those that dont remember or even know what that computer is, just know that it was way before you could just point and click on something. You had to type tons of commands just to play a horribly pixelated game. A game that was actually stored on floppy disks when they were literally still floppy. That old computer wasn't enough to deter Justin from playing his games, in fact its what created the geek that he is today.
Justin was troubleshooting and fixing computers at the age of 12. He started small with configuring dialup internet connections and home networks for family and friends and troubleshooting their issues if the internet did not work. He constantly tweaked his familys home computer, pushing its limits and figuring out every combination of keystrokes you could throw at it.

The course was good but it didn't have anything on Windows 10. I did learn a lot from this course. Will be checking in on some other courses that you provide. I want to run thru them again and take the quizes. I bypassed them for now.

It was to my full expectation, very clear and well ilustrated. One strong suggestion.. when explaining the defragmentation you should comment about wether a SSD should be defragmented or not and the reasons. I think that if the end user blindly defragments his/hers SSD could limit the service life without knowing it and this course should warn us about it. Besides that everything was to my full satisfaction. Thanks

The voice is rather soft and hard on hearing. I have to turn up the volume to hear what the teacher is speaking. Maybe he could use a mic to enhance his speech? It's still good though, just too soft in the volume.

The lessons should have been updated to latest versions of Windows. With regards to the back-ups, it was mentioned that it should be done on DVDs which is true but the storage of these DVDs are limited in size. Moreover, information on cloud with recommendations would be more in line with the present year 2020.
