This is a narrow, practical course: 2.2 hours on securing a networked Access database so ordinary office staff can't get into the ribbon, the navigation pane, or anything they shouldn't touch. Bruce Myron built the material from his own client work rather than a textbook, and it picks up exactly where his Networking 1 course leaves off, modifying that same project's front end and back end files. It covers encrypting the database, linking to an encrypted back end, building a login table, and validating passwords with VBA.

Reviewers consistently call the explanations clear, and one reviewer says they were using the techniques on the job right away.
