Workshop 5: Access VBA, Design and Advanced Methods (Udemy.com)

Very good course. I was able to make changes to a live Access database that I use, based on sections 2, 3, 4 & 6 of this course. I thought Bruce explained the topics very well. I learned a lot of new ideas from the design challenge, especially using VBA code within modules to automate the running of queries and appending to/making tables. I am looking forward to getting started with advanced workshop no. 6.

These workshop courses are great ways to learn very specific Access techniques in bite-sized chunks, while being very in-depth at the same time. There may be parts you don't really want for the moment, but it's good to know they're there and accessible for future reference.

Using Bruce's courses are a great and simple way to go through the process of creating and coding simple projects within ACCESS. The courses are done in a manner that helps you go through the steps to learn and reuse the process in making my own programs to use, both personal and professional. Thanks for the time and experience to show those of use who are learning to use these tools more efficiently.

These workshops do what they say they will. There are good examples of how to get coding around a problem. As a beginner, some of the process eludes me until it wraps up in the end. But I come away with new ideas and code examples I can go back to later.

Good job as usual Bruce. I always learn a lot from your courses and I look forward to the next one. In this Workshop I found the sections on Option Buttons and Labels to very helpful and something that I can put directly to use.

Always great lessons. I really enjoy his teaching style. What appear to be the most basic lessons are packed with insights on how to develop your programs by thinking outside the box. He's helped me to develop some pretty impressive databases just by following his tutorials.

Detailed instruction provided for each section makes the concepts easy to grasp. The VBA workshops are great for taking your VBA skills to a new level and they are practical as well!

This is yet again another excellent course - with many very useful shortcuts and explanations. I have enjoyed this course almost more than all the other Bruce's Access Courses which I have taken.

This workshop is invaluable. The teacher gives you real world examples and walks you through how to accomplish each. It has advanced my career two fold. Here he explains how to implement "ranges" to show data queried against a combo box! I could use this immediately on a database I was creating! The teacher explains what he's doing step by step. And most importantly he makes it a priority to answer your questions and help explain his explanation thoroughly. I would recommend ALL his courses to anyone who wants to learn VBA using practical example you can implement immediately.

I especially liked the Filters processing which was a little different than I've done in the past and gave me several tips and ideas to improve functionality of my code. All the subjects were excellent and gave valuable insights into getting the most functionality out of a minimal amount of VBA code.
